China has their eye on tracking the alien activities since 1994, and they had a plan to build a design to discover the life out of the earth. This might be one of the reasons to initiate and building the world’s largest telescope.

It took around five years for the development, and the building workers have just slotted the final piece of the aperture spherical telescope. They named it as FAST which is abbreviated as Five-hundred-metre Aperture Spherical Telescope. FAST is twice larger than to the next radio telescope. This project is initiated in the space which is equivalent to the size of 30 soccer fields, and the construction is done in the south-western province of Guizhou. The tests will begin shortly, and if everything goes fine, then the operations will start fully from the month of September 2016.

China Has Built The World’s Fastest Supercomputer with Homegrown Technology

More than 300 builders, science fiction enthusiasts, reporters and experts have watched, during the installation of this telescope. The shape of the building form is an enormous parabolic dish. This telescope has 4,500 panels, and each is having the dimensions of 11 meters (36 feet) in length. This design will allow the researchers to make minute adjustments to the shape of the dish, so this will enabling them to reflect faraway radio signals to a single point. This enhances the radio signal strength and useful in the detailed examination.

Peng Bo, director of NAO Radio Astronomy Technology Laboratory, says. “FAST’s potential to discover an alien civilization will be five to ten times that of current equipment as it can see farther and the darker planets.”

In the earlier stages, Chinese scientists will do the research for a couple of years and later it is used extensively. It is capable of detecting the neutral hydrogen activities in the distant galaxies and gravitational waves. So it helps in finding the life of alien on the other planets and other galaxies.

China’s Straddling Bus Might be a Solution to Rush Hour Traffic

Zheng Xiaonian, The Deputy head of the National Astronomical Observation in the Chinese Academy of Sciences says “Scientists will start debugging and performing the trails of the telescope.” “The project has the potential to search for more strange objects to better understand the origin of the universe and boost global hunt for extraterrestrial life.”

Before the initiation of the project, The Chinese government displaced 9000 people who lived in this area, to make the space for the Project Fast. The government has paid only $1,800 as the compensation to them.
