Power Rangers Reboot

Remember the mild, light, funny camp of Power Rangers TV show series the days back in childhood. We can’t forget those multi-coloured dresses and each one having different powers. The first trailer of Power Rangers movie is out now. It seems like the new Power Rangers are quite serious.

Back in 90’s, boys and girls woke up on Saturday mornings turned on the TV and watched Power Rangers. But this time, kids are waking up to watch Power Rangers reboot teaser trailer which is dropped ahead of Lionsgate’s New York comic.

If you wonder what a gritty, serious looking power rangers looks might look like, then the first Power Rangers reboot has the answer. The new Power Rangers trailer is dropped today, and it is pretty impressive. It has been two years since the official announcement has made about making the film.

Since then all the fans are eagerly waiting for the next announcement about the movie. The film will have the New York comic presentation later today, but the trailer has already found its way online.

One of the biggest news right now in Hollywood is taking the properties of 80’s and 90’s and reimagines them for a new generation of fans. The trailer was briefly released on Power Rangers official Facebook page this morning.

Five high school students namely Zack, Billy, Kimberly, Trini, and Jason are chosen by the mentor Zordon to become Power Rangers. This movie is clearly going silence silliness and more grittiness.

The team multi-coloured Rangers consist of mostly newcomers. The cast of the movie is as follows.

  • Naomi Scott as Kimberly Hatt- Pink Ranger
  • RJ Cyler as Billy Cranston- Blue Ranger
  • Becky G as Trini Kwan- Yellow Ranger
  • Ludi Lin as Zack Taylor- Black Ranger
  • Bryan Cranston as Zordon the mentor of Rangers
  • Dean Israelite- Director
  • Haim Saban, Brian Casentini, Marty Bowen and Wyck Godfrey- Producers
  • John Gatins, Matt Sazama and Burk Sharpless,  Kieran Mulroney, and Michele Mulroney- Writters

There were a lot of staredowns set to dramatic music, big sound explosions and the desperate fleeing from police sirens. As there were a few quips and jokes in there, but this is not the Power Rangers we grew up with. Power Rangers Reboot will hit the big screens on 24th March 2017.
