UPSC IAS Prelims Result 2016

Union Public Service Commission has conducted the Indian Administrative Services (IAS) Preliminary Examination on 7th August 2016. The latest announcement from the officials is that they are going to declare the UPSC IAS Prelims Result 2016 soon.

While there is no exact information about the release of UPSC Civil Services Prelims Results, but as per the past years status, the result date would be around 26th September. Last year, the UPSC conducted Civil services exam on 23th August 2015 and released the results on 12th October.

UPSC May Cut Down Upper Age Limit to 26 for General Category Candidates

In the year 2014, the results were declared after 51 days of exam completion. By considering these figures, the commission may announce the UPSC IAS Prelims Result 2016 in the last week of September.

The Union Public Service Commission is a central agency in India which is authorised to conduct Civil Service Examination, Naval Academy Examination, National Defence Academy Exam, Engineering Service Examination etc. It was formed on 1st October 1926 and has its main hub at New Delhi, India.

Civil Services or Indian Administrative Examination is undoubtedly the toughest exam with the success rate of 0.1 to 0.3 percent. The Commission has released the latest notification in the month of March 2016. Around 11.36 lakh candidates are applied. UPSC recruitment officials selected the eligible aspirants and successfully conducted the preliminary exam.

Whatever the number of candidates has applied, now all of them are currently waiting for the announcement of Civil Services Prelims Result 2016.  While some of the confident candidates have taken the help of unofficial answer key and started their preparation for the mains exam.

UPSC has recently uploaded the question papers and it hopes that they will release the answer key soon. Many leading institution, coaching centers has prepared the answer key by their experts to help the candidates as the exam is completed long before.
