Good news from AP government!!! They have increased the upper age limit in the competitive exams to 40 years. This is glad tidings for unemployed people. Many people in the state are waiting for the government jobs. They are trying really very hard to get succeed in the jobs but age limit is the biggest barrier for them.
Up to now upper age limit is only 34 years, due to that applicants faced many problems. So govt extended the age limit up to 40 years. At a time they have increased the 6 years to participate in the Andhra Pradesh competitive exams.
Andhra Pradesh is one of the biggest states in the country. From past 2 years they didn’t release any recruitment Notifications. This year they decided to release recruitments in all departments. Many people had appealed to govt to increase the upper age limit finally govt considered this issue and increased the age limit.

Many youth in the state are exciting waiting for the notifications from govt. In that many people has sacrificed their private job and waiting for the govt job. There is a lot of competition in the exam. It takes some years to get a grip on the complete syllabus. In that mean time they lose the AP government jobs eligibility. So many has missed the chance due to their age. Now govt has opened more gates to get the job.
Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission and AP govt is trying to release more number of AP govt jobs. Up to now they have released many vacancies, soon they will announce the group’s notification.

From now onwards in every competitive exam AP state govt jobs age limit is 40 years and already reserved categories like BC, SC, ST, PH will have relaxation in every exam, now it is extended up to 45 years. So from now onwards age will not be a barrier to get succeed in the exam.
Govt estimates 1.5 lakh people will get the chance to sit in the examination after changing the age limit. But this relaxation is not applicable to police services. They have given relaxation only for two years. The upper age limit for police is 36. Many people demand to increase the age limit, but organization opposed it, why because they have the need to take energetic youth into the recruitment.
