Tokyo-based entertainment technology manufacturer SIX Inc has announced the commercial launch of its new product Lyric Speaker. A speaker which displays the lyrics of the song with added motion graphics while playing. This enhances the experience of the listening with visualised lyrics along with the music.
Lyric speaker works on the strategy of connecting to the database and displaying the lyrics of the song when a track is playing from any device. The lyrics will sync with the track playing, and motion graphics will be generated automatically for display on the LCD screen. The provided built-in Wi-fi option helps the device to collect data and display algorithmic motion graphics.
Six Inc was the first Japanese Company to bag the Best Bootstrap company award in 2015. Now, the company introduces a new technology called “Lyric Sync Technology”, and the lyric speaker will be the first device with this function. This technology automatically generates soft graphics for melody songs and a power packed graphics for energetic songs by analysing the mood of the song.
“Amid the rapid digitization of the music industry, not many people will think much about the lyrics booklet that came with the cover sleeve of a physical CD or the purpose it served,” says Jin Saito, Creative Director of SIX. “The Lyric Speaker is an Internet of Things speaker that brings back the utility of a lyrics booklet but takes it to the next level using technology and stunning visuals.” He added.
This new lyric speaker is efficient enough to produce a high-resolution audio with the drivers provided. Finally, this would be a great device which takes the experience of music to another level by visualising the message of the lyrics.
