Fiat dealers across the country are now accepting the pre-bookings for the upcoming Urban Cross. The Italian Automobile Manufacturer has first showcased at AutoExpo 2016, and it is likely to launch in the coming weeks in the Indian market.
Fiat India dealerships have now commenced with the bookings and those who want to book the Urban Cross can do so by paying a booking amount of Rs. 20,000 to Rs. 25,000 based on the variant chosen. This model is available in two variants, i.e., Active and Dynamic (both fuel and diesel) and Emotion (Petrol).
In case if you are wondering about Fiat Urban Cross, here comes the information. It is the third variation of Punto after the Hatchback and Avventura. This model is similar to the Avventura, with the same raised ride ground clearance, similar bumpers but there is a difference in tailgate-mounted spear wheel.
The Fiat Urban Cross model includes revised front, rear grille, LED DRLs, silver finished roof rails, door cladding, accentuated wheel arches and the new diamond cut 17-inch alloy wheels. Coming to dimensions, the Fiat Urban Cross measures 4000mm in length, 1500mm in height, 1700mm in width and has a 205mm ground clearance.
Inside features include a 5-inch touchscreen broadcast system with Bluetooth connectivity and satellite navigation. While the interior was done up in a red and black dual tone, dual airbags and contains silver accents on the steering wheel mounted audio controls.
The Urban Cross will come with diesel as well as petrol variants and both mated to five-speed manual transactions. The petrol engine will be 142hp 1.4litre T-Jet engine whereas diesel engine will be the 93hp 1.3 litre Multijet engine.
There are expectations that this model is going to compete with Hyundai i20 Active and Toyota Etios Cross. According to reports, the introductory will be of 8lakhs (ex-showroom) which might attract the people towards this Fiat Urban Cross.
