Samsung has teased the launch of the new addition to its Galaxy On series a couple of days ago. The company is holding a launch event in Kolkata on Thursday to unveil the Samsung Galaxy On Nxt.
The mobile manacturer has confirmed the upcoming Galaxy On device and teased the launch in a series of tweets on Wednesday. Samsung has officially listed the phone on the e-commerce website Flipkart for Rs.18,490 and available in Black and Gold colors.
Breaking the buzz that device sports a Snapdragon 625 SoC, Samsung Galaxy On Nxt packs the Exynos 7870 octa-core processor which clocks at 1.6GHz. Tt features a 5.5-inch screen with Full HD display of 1920 x 1080 pixels resolution and 2.5D Gorilla Glass protection on top. The mobile phone measures 151.7 mm x 75 mm dimensions with 8 mm thickness and weighs about 167 g.
Samsung Galaxy On Nxt houses 3 gigs of RAM with 32GB of storage which can be further expanded up to a maximum of 256GB via MicroSD card slot. A 13MP primary camera with f/1.9 aperture and LED flash is provided on the back. Another 8MP camera with the same f/1.9 aperture is positioned on the front panel for shooting selfies and video calls.
The smartphone supports dual SIM dual standby and provides VoLTE for using the Jio 4G SIM. Provided S secure feature enhances the device security with locking/hiding the apps. A 3,300mAh non-removable battery backs the device which lasts over a day at least with ‘S Power Planning’ battery optimizations.
The Korean electronics company claims the device would give 84 hours of audio playback and 15 hours of talk time. My Galaxy app comes inbuilt which offers music videos and gaming. The home button on the bottom of the front panel incorporates fingerprint sensor in it.
The device is released in China in the previous month and gained a decent applause. After the sale season in Flipkart and Amazon, Samsung Galaxy On Nxt may make huge in the upcoming Diwali season in India.
