Twitter Dashboard, the app intended at business users, going to shut down on 3rd February 2017. The social networking service launched the Business App only seven months before, i.e., in the month of June 2016. However, the company didn’t have a transition plan for how businesses access similar features.

“The Twitter Dashboard will be closing down on February 3rd. In the future, we hope to bring the best features from Twitter Dashboard to the broader Twitter community,” Twitter Dashboard wrote in a series of tweets on Wednesday.

This Business App offers a set of tools to track tweets, access analytics and much more to the businesses. The company claims that it hopes to bring the best features from the Dashboard in the months ahead.

According to the reports of App Annie, the Twitter Dashboard ranks as low as No. 432 in the Business apps category on iTunes. From the time of its launch, the app was downloaded over 40,000 times worldwide and about 3,000 times in past month.

The company overlapped Dashboard with Twitter Engage which is a tool for celebrities and other influences. This Twitter Engage feature announced around the same time, and it also includes analytics.

Last year in the month of October, Twitter announced closing down Vine and mentioned it would manage a simple camera app in its place. The move to close Twitter Dashboard follows other design that taking place in recent times. This business app is available both on the web and dedicated iOS platform.
