Prime Minister Narendra Modi recently announced two new schemes Lucky Grahak Yojana and Digi Dhan Vyapaar Yojana for consumers and merchants to boost digital transaction in India and to make the country as cashless economy soon. The customers and retailers can win money under the schemes through a lucky draw.

The winners under these plans can get a minimum of Rs 1,000 through a lucky draw. The winners will be picked up on a daily basis under Lucky Grahak Yojana scheme and merchants who have won under the Digi Dhan Vyapaar Yojana will be announced every week. The government has introduced the two schemes to incentivize citizens for using cashless payment methods and it will run until April 14, 2017.

If you want to participate in Lucky Grahak Yojana and Digi Dhan Vyapaar Yojana, you must have to make payments digitally through the following modes like UPI (Unified Payment Interface), Rupay, AEPS (Aadhar Enabled Payment System), and USSD (Unstructured Supplementary Service Data).

If you are using mobile wallets, debit or credit cards, then you won’t be eligible for the newly launched schemes Lucky Grahak Yojana and Digi Dhan Vyapaar Yojana. Also, to be eligible for the Lucky Grahak Yojana and Digi Dhan Vyapaar Yojana rewards, you must make transactions between Rs 50 and Rs 3000. People those who make purchases above Rs. 3000 will not be eligible for the rewards in this scheme.

If you have done digital payments using UPI, Rupay, AEPS and USSD, then you can check to see if you have won the reward under Lucky Grahak Yojana and Digi Dhan Vyapaar Yojana.

Steps to find out if you have won under Lucky Grahak Yojana and Digi Dhan Vyapaar Yojana

  1. Go the website digidhanlucky.mygov.in
  2. Click the button based on whether you are a customer or merchant
  3. The check box appears and type your mobile number registered with your UPI/USSD/Rupay/AEPS account
  4. OTO will come to your registered mobile number and enter the OTP in the box that appears in the middle of the screen
  5. Click the button “Try your Luck”
  6. Then message will be appeared if you have won under Lucky Grahak Yojana and Digi Dhan Vyapaar Yojana

If you have done a payment via the above mentioned methods but get the No information available message. You can provide more details such as your card number in case of Rupay, VPA for UPI transactions, Aadhar number for AEPS and mobile number for USSD payments.

Lucky Grahak Yojana Rewards

Under this scheme, 15,000 customers will get Rs 1,000 each daily. Weekly prizes will be worth Rs 1 lakh, Rs. 10,000 and Rs. 5,000 and it will be allocated between 7,000 consumers. On April 14, the mega draw will be conducted and will have prizes of Rs. 1 crore, Rs. 50 lakh and Rs 25 lakh. The government will announce total of 100 winners for USD payments, 1,500 winners for UPI and AEPS transactions, and 11,900 winners for RuPay.

Digi Dhan Vyapaar Yojana Rewards

7,000 merchants per week stand to win rewards of Rs. 50,000, Rs. 5,000 and Rs. 2,500 each week from December 25,2023 to April 14,2017. The mega draw will be conducted on April 14, will have rewards worth Rs. 50 lakh, Rs. 25 lakh and Rs. 5 lakh.
