Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission is a state organization which was formed by the Government when the state Andhra Pradesh formed on 1st November 1956. Earlier, the Commission was known as Andhra Service Commission which is based on the regulations of Madras Public Service Commission.
The main responsibility of this commission is to conduct the recruitment process and selects the highly-skilled candidates for various government departments. Recently they published the notification against Advertisement No: 26/2016. Through this APPSC Lecturer Recruitment 2017, the commission is going to fill 504 APPSC lecturer vacancies.
Moving to the acceptability details, candidates need to possess Master Degree with minimum 55% aggregate from any authorized university. In addition to this, applicants must have passed National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by the UGC.

All the applicants should attain the age limit of minimum 18 years and maximum 42 years as on 1st July 2016. Age relaxation is applicable for the reserved candidates as per the govt rules. Aspirants applying for APPSC Lecturer Recruitment 2017, have to pay the application fee of Rs. 250 and examination fee of Rs. 120. No examination fee for SC/ST/BC/PH category.
The selection for this APPSC Lecturer Recruitment 2017 will be done based on written exam (computer-based test) and Interview. Candidates who are selected will get the pay band of Rs. 15,600 to Rs. 39,100 with grade pay of Rs. 6000. And they are allotted in Government Degree colleges in AP Collegiate Education Service.
