Lamborghini had recently unveiled the latest version of their supercar Aventador S on Monday. This New S model arrives with the most notable upgrades from the present LP 700-4 Aventador which has been on roads since 2012. Aventador S receives more aggressive nose featured with the front splitter and larger air-intake ducts which are designed for improving the aerodynamic efficiency and engine cooling.

Lamborghini chairman and CEO Stefano Domenicali says “This is the next generation Aventador as well as the expression of new technological and performance milestones in super sports car development.”

Aventador S comes with the visionary design, driving dynamics and cutting-edge technology and elevates the concept of super sports cars to the next level. It gets a three position active rear spoiler along with the large diffuser.

Lamborghini had a word on the new model that, the new aero package improves front-end downforce by 130% when compared with the present model. The overall aerodynamic efficiency has increased, and in some cases, it is as much as 400%.

In the era dominated by the hybrid-electric drive systems and turbocharged engines, Lamborghini’s Aventador achieves the heart-stopping performance with the brutal power of a hulking 6.5-liter and naturally aspirated V12 engine. The upgraded Aventador S V12 produces 730 horsepower (740CV).

The new Big V12 engine puts its power through a seven-speed gearbox and Haldex all-wheel-drive system. Inside the Aventador S, it gets the digital TFT instrument display along with the Apple CarPlay compatibility and the driver mode selector and the telemetric tracking system.

As a result, company claims that Aventador S can make the sprint up to 0-60 mph from a standstill in 2.9 seconds and reach a top speed of 217 mph. The new Lamborghini Aventador S is expected to arrive in spring of 2017 with the price tag of $421,350.
