Bajaj Auto has silently launched Pulsar 2017 in the country with latest updates such as engine and new colour variants. The Pune-based bike makers names this 2017 Pulsar range as the laser edge collection and the new colour scheme models while the engines on the Pulsar 180 and 135 LS are now upgraded as per BSIV norms.

Few changes made to 2017 Pulsar such as exhaust unit, seat cushion, and instrumentation cluster with blue backlit illumination instead of orange. All Pulsar models barring the RS 200 will get the new red and black as well as blue and white dual colour options.

However, an important thing to be noticed is Bajaj Pulsar 180 specifically gets the addition of a rear disc brake while 180cc BSIV engine now delivers 17.02BHP at 8500 rpm and 14.22NM of torque. The 5-speed transmission continues to serve a purpose.

Bajaj Pulsar 2017 price starts at 78,000 (ex-showroom, Mumbai). The Bajaj Pulsar 2017 135 LS carries over the same changes as other models, while power comes from the more refined and BSIV compliant 135cc single-cylinder engine tuned for 13.3 bhp at 9000 rpm and 11.4 NM of torque at 7500 rpm. The new Pulsar 135 LS is priced at 59,000 (ex-showroom, Mumbai).

The 2017 Bajaj Pulsar 15o still continues the BSIII engine as for now but the minor changes introduced. The BSIV technology will be launched soon.
