Now it becomes harder for the web users to find the pirated content like music, movies and illegal Football Live Streams under new rules. The search giants, Google and Bing from now on wards hide illegally pirated content to crack down the Piracy Websites.

The companies signed up a voluntary code of practice which aimed to prevent users visiting piracy content providers. In this process, the users will be showed the links to the same video or music or any other that they are searching by paying the amount.

Google and Bing planned to start the process first in the UK to accelerate the demotion of illegal sites following the notices from the right holders. These changes are expected to start from this summer. Organizers mentioned that this agreement would run parallel to the existing anti-piracy measures which aimed at reducing online violation.

Eddy Leviten, Director General of the Alliance for Intellectual Property, said, “Sometimes people will search for something, and they will end up unwittingly taken to a pirated piece of content. “What we want to ensure is that the results at the top of the search engines are the genuine ones. It is about protecting people who use the web, but also safeguard the creators of that material too.”

India’s First Hotline to Report Child Pornography Launches Next Week

India’s first ever hotline to limit sexual abuse of children through the internet is set to launch early next week. This hotline also removes child abusive, pornographic content on the internet. Aaarambh, a network of individuals and organizations who work on child protection, took the initiative and collaborated with a UK-based Internet Watch Foundation.

IWF, an industry watch dog, is the most successful hotline in the world to remove child pornography.The hotline will be hosted on aarambhindia.org in India and enables users to report abuse about child sexual videos in an anonymous and safe environment.

Initially, the hotline will be in Hindi and English, and will be available in 22 regional languages in future.The purpose of hotline serves three – to trace the perpetrator and report him to the law enforcement agencies of his country, blocks and eventually removes offensive content, to reach out to the child victim and rehabilitate him/her as and when required.

A user can report the URL to the hotline once if he or she comes across a video or an image showing sexual abuse of children on the internet. A complaint filed on the Hotline remains secret and is accessed by a team of IWF professionals based in the UK.

This team selects the offensive URL and adds it to block-list thus its trouble making in accessing the content further until it has been removed. Once after the content is deleted, a unique identification number is assigned to ensure that the content cannot be uploaded in the future.

Now the traditional way of financial transactions like credit and debit cards are coming closer to expire. UK based start-up company developed a new technology ‘FingoPay.’ This new technology enables users to shop and make payments just by scanning finger veins.

This new automation builds a unique map for each individual by using a biometric reader to scan the veins of a shopper’s finger. By connecting the pattern with a bank account or credit card will allow the users to make payments by simply placing their finger in a pocket-sized scanner. Former music industry executive Nick Dryden founded the company Sthaler, which developed this ‘FingoPay,’ and announced that test for the technology would begin at a London nightclub next month.
