Indian Railways to launch Content on Demand (CoD) and rail radio services for passengers

Indian railways ministry has invited bids for Content on Demand (CoD) and rail radio services for travelers from April.

This new Content on Demand (CoD) and rail radio services provides you access to movies and TV shows.

On the other hand, there are some restrictions too, the service provider shall only provide U, U/A, PG-rated video content.

Indian Railways Now Allows Booking the Short Distance Tickets on Long Distance Trains

As per the recent announcement, Railway Minister has lifted the restrictions on issuing the short distance tickets for the Sleeper and Ac coaches of the long distance trains. Earlier, short distance passengers are not allowed to get the reservation in Mail and the Express trains for the longer distance routes.

Indian Railways is having long distance routes and short distance train routes. The users are now allowed to book the train tickets from anywhere to anywhere since it is computerised. The main reason behind this new announcement is, for the long distance trains a large number of berths are booked for the short travel. This leads in affecting the seat availability for the long distance travellers. To avoid this distance restriction, this new scheme has introduced.

RRB NTPC 2nd Stage Call Letter 2016

The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) published the notification of CEN 03/2015 Non-Technical Popular category (Graduate-Level) posts and invited the online applications. A huge number of candidates who are eagerly waiting for the latest railway jobs have applied. The board conducted the 1st stage exam and now they released the RRB NTPC 2nd Stage Call Letter 2016.
