Google launched a new tool for its business customers namely Cloud Search Tool. This allows the users to search for things across the G Suite of products including Gmail, Docs, Drive, Contacts and Sites. Previously the company launched this service known as Springboard in limited preview.

The Cloud Search Tool designed to provide both proactive recommendations and comprehensive search. With the Machine Intelligence, this tool can be used to prepare a schedule of an upcoming meeting or even suggest files. It created in card style design which is similar to Google Now.

Moreover, it also keeps a top on the privacy that is also helpful for the business purposes. The Google Cloud Search Tool provides G Suite file permissions so that people can only search and share the files that they have to access.

Scott Lawrence Lawson, Director of IT Architecture, said, “At QAD, we operate at a high-level of speed and need technology that provides us agility, flexibility and access to information. Cloud Search gives that. It’s given us the ability to break down silos that exist across various content systems and unlock information with less effort from IT.”

Furthermore, the Cloud Search Tool helps you to search the people who listed in the company’s directory along with the information. When you see the contact of a person from the list, the user can tap on it to start a conversation through hangouts, call and mail.

The Cloud Search Tool will soon begin rollout globally for all the customers using the G Suite Business and Enterprise editions. The company claimed that they are planning to integrate the third-party apps which could enhance the tool in future.
