From the launch of Reliance Jio Welcome Offer back in the month of September 2016, the company is always in the news for the latest announcements. Reliance Jio Infocomm launched JioCinema Movies TV App which includes TV shows, Music Videos, Trailers of movies and much more in multiple Indian languages.

The company claims it has taken over 1 lakh hours of watching when all the content in the app put together. Reliance Jio announced that the users can now download all the content. This means, you can download your favourite movies or any other videos from the library for instance and you can watch them offline.

Idea Cellular Announces Idea Movie Club, Music Lounge, and Idea Game Spark Apps

Through JioCinema Movies TV App, users can resume watching a movie or a show, and you can continue exactly where you stopped or resumed. Moreover, it also suggests the personalised movie recommendations so that you can never miss out a movie which is worth watching. Users can also look for the editors pick as the same.

Furthermore, the app also allows you to smart download the videos. Users can schedule their download for Jio Happy Hours, i.e., between 2 AM to 5 AM so that you won’t charge for downloading the content. In this case, people can no need to worry about paying money for extra usage if the data limit exceeded.

Apart from these updates, the latest update also brings a few bug fixes which improve the overall experience. Recently the Idea Cellular unveiled three new apps namely Idea Movie Club, Idea Music Lounge and Idea Game Spark. Reliance Communications Chairman Mukesh Ambani announced the commercial launch of Reliance Jio 4G services on 5 September. The recently released tariff plans ensure the lowest rates for voice calls and data post its free offer.

It is reported that the leading cellular companies like Idea Cellular, Bharti Airtel Ltd, and Reliance Communications Ltd combined had lost Rs 13, 165.55 crores in market value on Thursday. The reason behind this is the bold decision on low prices by Reliance Industries Ltd (RIL).

Bharti Airtel had introduced two new plans to its ‘myPlan Infinity ‘ for Post-paid users. According to the new plans, For Rs.1, 199 it offers unlimited voice calls - Local, STD and calls on National Roaming. The new plan is bundled with 1GB 3G/4G data along with Free 100 SMS per day and unlimited access to Wynk Music and Movies.

To be in the 4G race and to withstand fierce competition from Reliance Jio, Airtel is trying its best. As a part of it, India’s largest Telecom Company Airtel, along with all the telecoms like Vodafone, and Idea had reduced their 4G data tariff up to a large extent. BSNL tops the list of rule breaker telecom companies

The government of India imposed a fine of Rs 2,313 crore on telecom service providers for violating subscriber verification norms. The penalty has been imposed till 31st may 2016.

TRAI has given highest priority to the verification of telecom subscribers.The telecom authority has repeatedly been giving guidelines for subscriber verification, as a mandatory requirement to activate the SIM. In spite of stringent rules, telecom departments continue to break the rules.This time, the authorities has taken it seriously by imposing a Fine.

BSNL Plans to Provide Super Fast 4G Services by Next Financial Year

In response to a query the action taken for violating verification norms by telecom operators, Telecom Minister Manoj Sinha said “For all cases of non-compliant CAFs (Customer Acquisition Form), TERM Cells (Telecom Enforcement, Resource and Monitoring Cell) have taken actions which include imposition of penalty on non-compliant CAFs and filing of complaints/FIRs against apparently forged cases as per guidelines issued from time to time,”

As per the data shared by the minister, shockingly the state-owned BSNL tops the penalty list with Rs 583.09 crore, followed by Rs 377.51 crore on Reliance Communications, Rs 328.15 crore Tata Teleservices, Rs 300.34 crore Airtel, Rs 285.62 crore Vodafone, Rs 218.04 crore Idea Cellular, Rs 108.82 crore Aircel and Rs 53.14 crore on MTS.

Recently Mumbai police exposed a gang which stayed clear of police as they were using SIM cards of UP, which were not verified.Similar issues are creating problems in Meghalaya spreading terror and fear using re-activated SIM cards. Delhi police have asked TRAI to impose a fine on those operators who issue SIM cards without verification.
