Ever since Prime Minister Narendra Modi has made an announcement of demonetization of Rs 500 and Rs 1000 notes, there has been several doubts has been raised for the people in India. The currency exchange process remains a major problem across the country.
Most of the ATM’s are either out of cash or having long queues and even showing out of cash. Ola came up with a suitable solution in a bid to help the people. In association with Yes Bank, on Monday the India’s cab aggregator Ola has introduced the Mobile ATMs for convenient withdrawals by swiping the debit cards of any bank.

Currently, this service is made available in 30 locations across the ten major cities like Mumbai, Delhi, Bengaluru, Pune, Chennai, Kolkata, Chandigarh, Jaipur, Ahmedabad, and Hyderabad. Ola has recently announced that they are implementing Point of Sale (PoS) enabled Mobile ATMs from where people of any bank can withdraw the money.
Ola Partners with SBI and PNB for Mobile ATMs
“We are happy to partner with Ola to bring cash to the customer within the easy ability and provide seamless withdrawal facility using Yes Bank PoS machines,” said by the Rajat Mehta, the Senior President & Country Head, Brand and Retail Marketing, Yes Bank.

Customers can swipe the debit cards to withdraw the amount using the debit card up to the limit of Rs 2000 per day. The company Ola has enabled using PoS machines that are made available in the Ola cabs sanctioned Near Yes Bank branches across various locations in the mentioned cities.

Speaking about the partnership, Rajat Mehta also added, “This is a critical time for banking and mobility to come together and help people.” Ola and Yes Bank have joined hands to support Government’s initiative step to make digital payments in India and reduce the rate less-cash economy.
