Blackberry is prominently known for its secure and luxurious smartphones. The company has announced its collaboration with a Delhi-based firm named Optiemus. The Canadian tech company had inked an agreement for ten years.

According to the pact, Optiemus infracom can manufacture, sell, and provide customer support for the BlackBerry handsets in India. Besides India, the Delhi telecom company also holds the exclusive rights of blackberry in Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, and Nepal.

BlackBerry is presently confining to the development of its security and other software solutions. it also works on providing regular Android security updates to the platform.
They earlier had the global licensing agreement with TCL Communications.

With the latest deal between BlackBerry also supports the Indian government’s ‘Make in India’ initiative. The primary motive of this moment is to establish manufacturing units thereby creating job opportunities to Indians.

Optiemus infracom Pvt Limited has been the official distributor of Blackberry since last year November. The Indian company has sold smartphones both DTEK 60 and DTEK 50 that has an alert system which tells the user if their privacy was at risk.
