Piaggio has launched Aprilia SR150 Race in India priced at ₹ 70,282 (ex-showroom, Delhi). The scooter adds sporty looks to regular SR 150 scooter launched last year. Inspired by body colors and graphics, Aprilia SR 150 Race joins the standard scooter segment. The scooter goes on for sale in India across the Motorplex and Vespa outlets in the country.

New Aprilia SR 150 Race gets new racing colors, and the design remains same. The scooter has got a new color pattern with gray base tone, red and green body graphics. The gold finished front brake caliper, and red plated alloys add more beauty. While the red and black seat carries the standard version, the rear shock absorber has been painted red.

On engine font, Aprilia SR 150 Race comes with an air-cooled 154.4 cc single-cylinder. The motor produces 10.4 bhp at 7000 rpm and churns out 11.5 Nm of torque at 5500 rpm. An automatic transmission system is mated to the engine, and the scooter has a great power-to-weight ratio with 122 kg. Aprilia SR 150 Race sports telescopic front forks and dual shock absorbers at the rear. Disc at front and drum brake setup at rear handles the braking power.
