Vivo X9s and Vivo X9s Plus Launched in China with Dual Front Camera Setup

Vivo X9s and Vivo X9s Plus

Vivo has launched the X9s and Vivo X9s Plus smartphones in the Chinese market. Both the smartphones come with dual selfie camera setups and run on a custom ROM based on Android 7.1 Nougat. The bigger Vivo X9s Plus is set to go on for sale first from Saturday, July 8. The smaller variant, Vivo X9s will be open for registrations starting from July 14 and will be rolled out for sale on July 20. The smartphones are priced at CNY 2,698 (roughly Rs. 25,600) and CNY 2,998 (roughly Rs. 28,500).

Both the smartphones flaunt a sleek metallic body with the fingerprint scanner incorporated in the Home Button. The smartphones will come in Gold, Matte Black, and Rose Gold color options. The differences you can observe between the Vivo X9s and Vivo X9s Plus are their screen size, processor, and battery.

Vivo X9s specifications:

Discussing the specs, Vivo X9s features 5.5-inch full-HD AMOLED display with 1080×1920 pixels resolution. The device is powered by the Snapdragon 652 octa-core SoC coupled with Adreno 510 GPU and 4GB of RAM. It comes with 64GB inbuilt storage which can be expandable further via microSD card. The dual-SIM Vivo X9s runs on Android 7.1 Nougat based on FunTouch OS 3.1.

On optics, the rear camera on Vivo X9s sports a 16-megapixel primary sensor with LED flash and PDAF. The dual selfie camera setup comes with a primary 20-megapixel sensor and 5-megapixel secondary camera with soft-LED flash.

The Vivo X9s is backed by a 3320mAh battery bundles with fast charging support. Connectivity options on the device include Wi-Fi 802.11ac, GPS, 4G VoLTE, Micro USB, USB OTG, Bluetooth v4.2, and 3.5mm audio jack.

The Vivo X9s Plus comes with a slightly larger 5.85-inch full-HD AMOLED display with 1080×1920 pixels display. It is powered by a Snapdragon 653 octa-core SoC coupled with 4GB of RAM and Adreno 510 GPU. The battery capacity is also improved and gets a 4015mAh unit and also supports fast charging. All the other specifications of the phone match with the Vivo X9s smartphone.

Vivo is gearing up to celebrate the beginning of IPL 2017 with the launch of ‘ Vivo V5 plus IPL limited edition’. The company has sent out media invites for the launch event on Tuesday at Hyderabad. On the other hand, IPL’s opening ceremony and first match are scheduled on Wednesday.

The Vivo V5 Plus smartphone was launched earlier in January at Rs. 27,980. Vivo V5 Plus was made available both online and offline in India. Now, Vivo V5 plus IPL limited edition comes with no further addition except the change in outer design. Besides that, Vivo V5 plus IPL edition phones does get few pre-loaded IPL-related apps. As of now, we have less info about Vivo V5 plus IPL edition price and availability. However, we’ll get to know about all details after the product launch.

Another 16-megapixel sensor with LED flash is provided on the rear panel. The physical home button on the front panel of the device doubles up as a fingerprint scanner. Vivo Unveils Y55s Smartphone in India at Rs 12,490

The leading global handset brand Vivo had unveiled the latest smartphone in Y series. Vivo has released its second smartphone Y55s this year. The Y55s is available with the price tag of Rs 12,490. Vivo Y55s is the successor to Y55L which released in the month of October last year with Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 Octa-Core 1.4GHz, 2GB RAM and 16GB ROM.

This latest smartphone in Y series comes with the display of 5.2 inches(1280 x 720 pixels) and a Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 processor mated with 3GB RAM under the hood. Y55s powered with 16GB internal memory which is further extended up to 256GB via a microSD card slot.

Vivo Y55s runs on Android Marshmallow-based Funtouch OS 3.0, and it supports 4GLTE connectivity. It sports 13MP of rear camera with LED flash and 5MP of front camera for selfies. Y55s is packed with 2,730 mAh battery whereas Vivo Y55L consists of 2650 mAh battery.

Vivo Y53 Introduced with Basic Specs and Great Design

Vivo has launched a new budget addition to its smartphone range. The company has unveiled Vivo Y53 in a launch event at Malaysia at RM 699. The design and looks of the smartphone mostly resemble Vivo Y55L and come with a fingerprint sensor. New Vivo Y53 will be available in Crown Gold & Space Gray color options.

Vivo Y53 features a 5-inch QHD display with 960 x 540 pixels resolution. The device is powered by a 1.4GHz Quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 processor. The budget smartphone from Vivo comes with  of internal storage which can be expanded up to 256GB via microSD card. Vivo Y53 runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow with Funtouch OS 3.0 on top. The handset measures 144.2 × 71.4 × 7.64mm in dimensions and weighs 137 grams.

Good news for the Cricket Fans all over the world. The much awaited schedule of IPL 2017 was released by BCCI. The First match will be between SunRisers Hyderabad (SRH) and Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) on April 5.

As always there will be 56 league matches between the teams and four knockouts.  Total together ten venues across India will be hosting the cricket matches in the time span of 47 days. The Indore Stadium had joined the list of IPL 7 venues for the first time after 2011

In a statement BCCI had stated that “The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) on Wednesday announced the fixtures of the upcoming Indian Premier League 2017 season with the opening match scheduled to be held at the Rajiv Gandhi International Cricket Stadium in Hyderabad on April 5.”

“The tournament will be spread over 47 days across 10 venues. The schedule has been designed with each team playing 14 matches seven of them at home venues,” it added.

on April 6, Rising Pune Supergiants will be facing Mumbai Indians in the second encounter at the MCA Stadium in Pune.
