6,000 Kuchipudi Dancers Got Places in Guinness Book Records

About 6,000 Kuchipudi dancers got the place in Guinness book records for giving the performance on Sunday at Vijayawada. Performers came from 18 countries and participated in the event. This program was conducted on the occasion of the fifth edition of International Kuchipudi dance convention.

Guinness Book of World Records Representative Rishinath recognized the record. Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu, Union Minister Venkaiah Naidu, and Silicon Andhra founder Kuchbhotla Anand has attended to this event

AP chief minister Chandra Babu Naidu said state government had allotted Rs 100 crores for the development of arts and also developing the village Kuchipudi. He also said they are making plans to develop this art through worldwide.

In 2012 December kuchipudi dance performance has organized with 5,974 members with the name of mahabrinda Natyam, this event has entered into the Guinness world book records also. Now again they set record
