The one of the top leading Infocomm Company in India Reliance Jio is ready to launch its 4G services very soon. But before the launch, Reliance Jio will launch one million (500000) recharge outlets. It seems that the company will give a tough competition to its parallel competitors like Bharti Airtel and Vodafone and Idea Cellular.
RIL (Reliance Industries Limited), said that we are targeting India to be among the top 10 nations in Internet penetration. The company also said that all Jio outlets would have access to 1,072 Jio offices across the country.
As per the report was given by the Broadband Commission, India ranked 155th position in broadband penetration. Presently, Jio 4G services are launched to its employees in December last year and are now being used by employees, partners, vendors and associates as a part it.
In annual report 2015 – 20116, Chairman Mukesh Ambani spoke that Jio before its official launch, it has more than 15 lakh trial users and feedback is extremely encouraging and progressive where he did not give the exact kick-off about the launch, but it is expected to be in October.
Not exactly a million recharge outlets, but it will have half a million activation outlets. In just one year after Jio launch, it will rise to 90% of coverage where at present it will have 70% of coverage of the population. Jio covers all 29 states (18,000 Urban and rural town’s and1, 50,000 villagers).
During the year, Reliance Jio moved towards completion of its network infrastructure as well as business services and platforms. We on-boarded over 1.5 million test users, who have been using the services extensively. This has enabled testing of the network, user applications and services and business platforms. The feedback from test users is extremely encouraging. The test programme will be progressively upgraded into commercial operations in the coming months, RIL’s Chairman Mukesh Ambani said.
