With the launch of Reliance Jio, Reliance Industries Chairman Mukesh Ambani has reached the top position and also stood first in the list of Forbes Global Game Changers. The list stated that Ambani had achieved a target of 100 million users in a shocking and record time and it has started a revolution in telecom industry across India.

Forbes has stated that the list is all about the entrepreneurs and tagged them as fearless business leaders and described them as they are not satisfied with this present status.

“It stated that making the internet available to everyone, Ambani has created a sensation in the telecom industry by offering the fastest internet with lowest prices. In just six months of time, it has achieved almost 100 million customers,” said Forbes.

In the name of Reliance Jio, Ambani has made a huge investment to create a great platform for his telecom business. Out of all the years, in the past five fiscal years, the company has invested a lot, which is more than its investment in the past 35 years.

In a statement released by Ambani on March 31, he stated that the reason behind creating Jio is to give everyone the internet experience. Jio makes each in the country to have a better life like never before in this digital world. Forbes quotes Ambani’s statement as, “Anything and everything that can go digital is going digital. India cannot afford to be left behind.”

The list also includes social media company Snap co-founder Evan Spiegel, African retail tycoon Christo Wiese and Chinese ride sharing giant Didi Chuxing founder Cheng Wei.

Jio Prime Extension Allows Enrolling for Jio Prime until 15 April 2023

Reliance Jio Happy New Year offer comes to an end, and the company has announced its latest move. Earlier announced Jio Prime subscription provides the same benefits with bundled monthly packs. Now, the telecom has announced Jio Prime extension to get enrolled for the Prime subscription. Earlier, the company has announced the last date for subscription which will be on 31 March. Recent announcement from Mukesh Ambani states that the offer is extended up to 15 April 2023, which falls the last day for Jio Prime subscription.

Besides that, users also get free monthly recharges for three months on subscription of Jio Prime. The user who enrolls for Jio prime now and recharge with monthly plan of Rs. 303, will get the same benefits for the next 3 months on “complimentary basis”. The service lasts till July end and comes as a summer surprise offer for the users who enroll before April 15, 2017.

“Customers who could not enroll for Jio Prime by March 31 can still do so by paying Rs 99 along with their first purchase of Jio’s Rs 303 and other plans till 15th April. This Jio Prime extension will provide the necessary breathing room for users to avoid service disruption during the transition from free to paid services,” says, Mukesh Ambani, Chairman of Reliance Industries.

As of now, the company has gained 100 million users of which 72 million has already subscribed to Jio prime. The telecom network is now one of the major networks with huge consumer base. On the other hand, Jio has call-drop issue which the telecom assured that will be fixed soon. Also, Jio is planning to invest more to expand its 4G tower network in India.

The company finally started charging their users for calls, data and texts. However, for the Jio Prime service can enjoy an extremely inexpensive cost of plans. Upon recharging with Rs. 303 or Rs. 10 per day can enjoy unlimited Calls, SMS and Data of 1GB per day as a part of Jio Happy New Year offer.

According to the reports, the company introduced the Buy One Get One Free Recharge Offer to the Jio Prime Users who sign up for the Prime subscription before 31st March 2017. The new plans introduced by the Reliance Jio started from Rs.19 and went all way to the Rs. 9,999. Among those, the most optimal plan is Rs. 303 but the Rs. 499 plan comes with double data.

Users of Reliance Jio who recharge the Jio Prime Membership with Rs. 303 they can get free add-ons of Rs. 201 along with 5GB free 4G LTE data. Those who choose the recharge of Rs. 499 or above can avail free add-ons of Rs. 301 and also 10GB of free 4G data. The benefit of all the free add-ons will automatically add by the Jio.

Reliance Jio is providing booster packs for the cheaper Jio Prime subscriptions. They are

  • For the free add-ons of Rs. 201, users can avail 5GB more for the plan. If the customers subscribed to Rs 303 monthly plan users can get 33GB of 4G data per month.
  • Similar to the above plan, if you recharge with Rs 499 per month you can avail 66GB of 4G data instead of 56GB from now.
