Mazda 2017: New brand versions of top two selling cars Mazda3 and Mazda 6 will enter the US showrooms next month with new features like heated rear seats, steering wheels, refined interiors and new chassis controls that enhance the stability and handling.
The 2017 Mazda models have raised their standard with all-new G-Vectoring Control (G-VC), which is an additional layer that helps to cut down ignition timing to lower engine torque by up to 20 lb – ft (27 Nm) and engine-braking the vehicles by about 0.05g.
As described by the company the revolutionary G-VC makes handling easier with a greater steering verity. The larger standard Mazda 3 has more impressive changes in the new version.
The mildly refreshed versions include improved LED headlights, redesigned 18-inch wheels and taillights, a new grille, and a monochrome rear bumper. Well, the manual handbrake has been replaced by an electronic brake.
An advanced Blind Spot Monitoring is now available in the Mazdaa3 uses a quasi-mill wave radar sensor that instructs the driver of other vehicles while changing lanes. And the leather wrapped steering wheel gives a comfortable grip to the rider.
The freed up interior space in the new versions has a modified centre storage bin. At last Mazda says the refreshed Mazda3 has advanced insulation and weather stripping. The new three will be available in two new colours, Machine Gray Metallic and Eternal Blue Mica.
The very few changes in 2015 refreshed Mazda 6 includes a manual transmission that now packs the Mazda Connect infotainment system, which improved from the earlier non-touchscreen system.
After the impressive exterior Soul Red Metallic colour, the ’17 Mazda6 will be available in Machine Gray Metallic colour. The other improvements on revised versions of Mazda 2017 are Mazda3 and Mazda6 with genuine Nappa leather inside.
Advanced Smart City Brake Support system is added with pedestrian detection feature. Both the models will be available with Traffic sign recognition. The versions have an upgraded full-color Active display. The new design of steering wheel is acquired from the recently unveiled CX-9 CUV.
