Huawei sub-brand Honor is gearing up for its release of new Honor 8 smartphone in India on Wednesday next week. The solid smartphone with decent performance and battery life is launched in China back in July earlier year. Honor 8 will make its debut in Indian market on 12 October. The new mobile from Honor is also said to be the flagship offering with some good specs.
The beautifully designed smartphone features a screen size of 5.2 inches with Full HD display of 1920 x 1080 pixels resolutions and 2.5D curved glass on the top. A high-performance Octa-Core Kirin 950 16nm processor is coupled with 4 gigs of RAM and Mali T880-MP4 GPU. An internal memory of 32GB is provided which is expandable up to 128GB with the microSD card slot provided.

The dual SIM device runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow with EMUI 4.1 skin. Honor 8 flaunts a couple of 12MP dual rear cameras which are first of its kind in the Indian market. All the latest camera options like dual-tone LED flash, f/2.2 aperture, Laser AF, 1.4um pixel size, 6P lens are equipped in the camera section. Another 8 MP front facing camera of a f/2.4 aperture is arranged on the front panel for shooting selfies. The handset also sports fingerprint sensor and the infrared sensor which is common in modern day premium smartphone usually have.
Honor 8 measures dimensions of 145.5 x 71 x 7.45 mm and weighs about 153 grams. On connectivity font, the device supports 4G VoLTE, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS, NFC, Wi-Fi, USB. The device is backed by a 3000mAh battery with rapid charging support.
