Samsung Galaxy Xcover 4: Specifications, Price and Release Date

Korean company Samsung has announced the Galaxy Xcover 4, a rugged smartphone meant for rugged outdoor use. It is the successor of Galaxy Xcover 3 which was introduced back in 2015. Xcover 4 will be released in April, priced at 259 Euros (Rs 18,200 approx.).

Samsung has been unveiling many non-flagship mid-range smartphones this year such as 2017 Galaxy A series. Samsung’s Galaxy Xcover can withstand drops, water, dust and extreme temperature.

Galaxy XCover 4 is guaranteed by the IP68 and MIL-STD 810G certifications. This smartphone features a 4.99-inch display, 720p, LCD panel and Xcover 4 runs on company’s own Exynos 7570 SoC. It mated with 2GB of RAM and 16GB internal memory, expandable with microSD.

Samsung Galaxy Xcover 4 specifications include Android 7.0 (Nougat) operating system, and it packs a 13MP rear camera with LED flash, f/1.9 aperture, and 5MP front-facing camera. Connectivity of this phone are 4G, wifi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, NFC and GPS/GLONASS. Xcover 4 backed with 2,800mAh battery life. It is available in black color variant.

Yoga A12 consists of Intel Atom x5 processor, which is quite not good at any performance contests but with the better batter life (13 hours on a single charge). The battery capacity is 10500mAH.

Yoga A12 features touch-based Halo keyboard like Yoga book, but you won’t find earlier model’s pen input or Windows 10 option. But there is still a portable design that can fold into a slate. It shows the display of 12.2-inch which is priced at $299.

The Chinese smartphone manufacturer UMi has recently launched its flagship model Umi Plus E. This model is the successor for UMi Diamond X smartphone which is the previous launch from company. Now UMi has come up with another smartphone UMi Plus E with great specifications. This handset is the successor/ upgrade version for the UMi Plus.

This smartphone comes in 5.5-inch Full HD screen with the better viewing angles. UMi Plus E is powered by MediaTek Helio P20 octa-core processor at 2.3GHz clubbed with the Mali T880 Graphics. This flagship smartphone is equipped with 6GB RAM, and 64 GB as the internal storage. Another model comes with 4GB of RAM and 32GB of inbuilt memory on the phone. It supports the expandable memory up to 256GB storage with the microSD card.

Asus launched ZenFone 3 Max in the launch event Held on Wednesday at New Delhi. The Company has launched other smartphones in series back in August. And now ZenFone 3 Max is out in two variants in India, the 5.5-inch display version (ZC553KL) with a Qualcomm processor and the 5.2-inch screen version (ZC520TL) with a MediaTek processor.

Discussing the specs, Asus ZenFone 3 Max (ZC553KL) is a dual-SIM smartphone runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow with the company’s own ZenUI 3.0 skin on top. It features a 5.5-inch full-HD display with 1080×1920 pixels resolution. ZenFone 3 Max (ZC553KL) is powered by a 1.4GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 processor paired with 3GB of LPDDR3 RAM.

While the same battery on 5.2-inch Asus ZenFone 3 Max (ZC520TL) will give a 30 days of 4G standby time, and 20 hours of 3G talk time.
