The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) released the CBSE Class 10, and Class 12 Admit card 2017 of candidates for the 10th and 12th board examinations. The board provided the download link of admit cards available on their official website cbse.nic.in.
CBSE scheduled the Class 10 board examinations from 9th March and will continue up to 10th April 2017. For the 12th Class board exams, the timetable commenced from 9th March 2017 and will conclude on 26th April 2017. For that, the Central Board of Secondary Education disclosed the CBSE 10th Class Exam Hall Ticket and Class 12th admit card.
Students have to download their respective CBSE Admit cards of 10th and 12th Classes and carry to the examination centre. More students have opted for the Class 10 examinations to be conducted by the board over school-based exams.
The number of students increased this year to one lakh as compared to last year. Around 16.67 lakh candidates are going to appear for the Class 10 and Class 12 examinations which will end on 10th and 26th April 2017 respectively. Without CBSE Class 10 and Class 12 Admit card 2017, students are not allowed to write the exams.
However, upon the announcement regarding postponing of exams, CBSE Chairman RK Chaturvedi said that the board would release the results on time. Previously, the board examinations usually begin on 1st March, and the results declared in the third week of May as per reports.
CBSE Class 10 Admit card and CBSE Class 12 Admit card is the important document to be carried for the exam centre without fail. It contains necessary details like name, roll number, date, time and venue of the exam. After frisking process, all the students are allowed to write the examinations. Students have to check the instructions provided in the CBSE Class 10 and Class 12 Admit card 2017.
Steps to download Class 10 and Class 12 Admit cards
- Students need to visit official website cbse.nic.in.
- Click on the Admit card/LOC/Centre Material for Board 2017 (School login for Regular Candidates) link.
- And then tap on click proceed button.
- Students have to enter User ID, Password and Security Pin in the provided fields.
- After entering the details click on login button.
- You will be directed to a new page where CBSE Class 10 and Class 12 Admit card 2017 will be displayed.
- Download the admit card and take a print out of it.

- Class 10 exams: 09.03.2023 to 10.04.2023
- Class 12 exams: 09.03.2023 to 26.04.2023
