The renowned online movie tickets booking site BookMyShow has released a new Android update for all its users. Yes, the BookMyShow App update has come up with new features which are very useful and getting easier to book tickets in online.
The BookMyShow App update now improves discoverability, features like Split Tickets, language support. Mini maps and more. Now, coming to the details, the updated app now lets you select preferred movie by filtering them either by language or by movie name. The app also offers language support for four more languages like Hindi, Telugu, Kannada and Tamil.

Next extraordinary feature added in BookMyShow app is Mini Maps. It deals a birds’ eye view of the full layout of the premises while picking your seats during Tickets booking. The app also introduces ‘Just for You’ option which studies from the users previous purchases, understand their choices and recommends personalized suggestions with appropriate entertainment options.
Even though the bookings for events and movies is same, the new BookMyShow App update has minimized the number of booking steps keeping users in mind and also offers users to choose from various categories and price points within the same screen. Along with the new looking User Interface, the update also introduced new feature named as Split Tickets.

Through this feature, you can instantly share tickets with the entire movie going group. The Split Tickets option will divide the cost between all the movie goers who can pay for their share using My Wallet. Apart from these more additional features like pre-order food and beverages and more options introduced through the new update.
Anish Tripathi, VP, Product Design BookMyShow in a statement said, “We completely reconstruct the mobile app from the initial point to take this getting closer to users. The new app is fully loaded with extraordinary features and lot of these is a direct result of user feedback that we have established over a period.”
The update for iOS will be released soon and currently BookMyShow update is only for Android users.
