Apple has announced the launch of MacBook Pro 2016 back in October. The new MacBook Pro comes with the refreshed function key, is now ‘Retina-quality’ multi-touch display known as the Touch Bar. Even after its launch globally, Apple rolled out the stock MacBook Pro 2016 in India. Now, the company has announced the availability of Touch Bar variant in India.
The new MacBook Pro 2016 with Touch Bar variant is now available in selected dealers and is priced at Rs.1,55,900. IT Net Infocomm, An Apple Reseller in Kerala announced the availability of new 13-inch and 15-inch Touch Bar variants. While the 15-inch is priced at Rs.2,05,900.

As of now, The 2016 MacBook Pro haven’t been listed in any of the e-commerce websites. It seems the stock has just arrived and will be available widely soon.
Both the 13-inch and 15-inch MacBook Pro 2016 with Touch Bar features an OLED panel along with the Touch ID sensor replacing the function keys on the keyboard. The Retina LED-backlit display with IPS technology offers 2560×1600 pixels resolution and pixel density of 227ppi. A 2.9GHz Intel ‘Skylake’ Core i5 dual-core processor powers the basic 13-inch MacBook Pro with Touch Bar model. The unit packs 8GB of LPDDR3 RAM and 256GB of SSD storage alongside Intel Iris Graphics 550.
There is Bluetooth 4.2 and Wi-Fi 802.11ac support. Other connectivity options include two Thunderbolt 3 (USB Type-C) ports and 3.5mm audio jack.
MacBook Pro 2016 Revamped With OLED Display Touch Bar and Touch ID
The 15-inch MacBook Pro laptop with Touch Bar’s base model packs the similar specs. It is powered by an Intel Skylake Core i7 quad-core SoC chipset clocked at 2.6GHz. 16GB of RAM and an AMD Radeon Pro 450 series graphics chip are coupled to the processor with dedicated 2GB of graphics memory. Another low-power Intel HD 530 Graphics chip is built-in; the device switches according to the requirement. Despite a smaller 76 watt-hour battery, the variant boasts of 10 hours of battery life.
