Satya Nadella recently gave the statement that company will continue in the phone market. A new mobile device is going to come in the market, and it does not reflect regular trends it is just coming to create the sensation in the phone industry.
He also said Microsoft is always in the first position to create unique devices. It never takes back step to take risks and he also said about Microsoft surface. This company jumped into the 2 in 1 factor with Microsoft surface three years ago. It’s pointing towards Microsoft intentions to something unique to the customers.
According to the information, Microsoft is planning to launch a surface smartphone soon. The company is targeting three different users including customers, business users, and enthusiasts. So soon we are going to see an Ultimate Mobile device from Microsoft. We still don’t know this surface phone is the ultimate mobile device or else another mobile will release. Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella has briefed about the company’s implementation of Artificial Intelligence. He also indicated a situation where in future there will be no names even to name the advancements that take place.
At present, the Artificial Intelligence has been adopted in many of the Microsoft products. The interaction took place in the city of Atlanta.
He also expressed his concerns about the problems that minimize human intention and time in information explosion and the ability to make sense out of it.
Google’s game-playing artificial brain has though far better than human brains reach, Nadella did not get enthusiastic. AI has got appreciation from the Tesla CEO, Elon Musk too for its amazing performance.
Microsoft has included AI in its products. Cortana with Windows 10 Operating System alone has around 133 million users monthly. Apart from this many other applications and soft wares will be provided with AI. This will be more useful for the corporate and commercial firms and companies.
This is useful for all the sections of the techies. Developers and users have their motives fulfilled with AI introduction into the Microsoft products. Office 365 will be mainly benefited for the company as this will make the usage vaster. PowerPoint representation and other assigned elements of the package can be enhanced.
The internal CRM tool of the company has already implemented AI. The utilities that are derived from it just amazing for the company employees. The sales and services are being ascertained with high-level performance.
Bingo images are now assigned to the office 365 excel sheets to design and save the maps. Face detection and other tools like sensor and voice controls are now the new inclusions with the introduction of AI into the product package.
What’s interesting is that Microsoft CEO is not so happy about the various usages of AI. His concerns are also not negligible as they have a valid point to think. Hence, the usage an the future should be taken care of.
Microsoft Corp. on Monday announced that the company is acquiring LinkedIn for $ 26.2 Billion and it is the biggest acquisition of the company yet. The deal is to pay $ 196 per share, in cash. LinkedIn’s shares jump 47 percent after the announcement that the giant software tools manufacturer acquires the biggest social networking site for professionals, which globally has above 400 million users. And the Microsoft’s stock was down by 3.2 percent.
According to the terms of acquisition, LinkedIn’s distinct brand, culture and independence will be maintained same. Jeff Weiner will remain the CEO of professional social network and will report to Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella.
“The LinkedIn team has grown a fantastic business centered on connecting the world’s professionals,” Nadella said. “Together we can accelerate the growth of LinkedIn, as well as Microsoft Office 365 and Dynamics as we seek to empower every person and organization on the planet.” The deal of acquisition has already been approved unanimously by both the boards. As it still needs to get regulatory and other approvals, Microsoft is planning to close it later this year.

Over the recent years Microsoft’s acquisitions has not planned out as they hoped. The software giant’s biggest purchases four years ago under Steve Ballmer, previous CEO of Microsoft are Nokia Corp.’s mobile phone business for $9.5 billion, Skype for $8.5 billion and Yammer for $ 1.2 billion had no great business as expected by the company. While Nadella’s purchase of Minecraft video game, Majang AB in 2014 is a success. So, hope this purchase of LinkedIn social network gives a significant foothold to Microsoft.
