Google Allo 2.0 update released with split-screen, quick reply, GIF keyboard and more features

Google has introduced the smart messaging app Google Allo for both Android and iOS in the last month. According to the sources, this app could not gain the popularity as Google expected. Now Google has released the latest update Google Allo 2.0.

To reach the company’s unfulfilled goal of attracting users, the company has reportedly released this update for Google Allo. Google Play store did not update the change log yet, but the Google Nexus’s Twitter account has posted the announcement regarding this update.

As you all knew this smart communication app from Google will let you say more and more in the chats. You can express yourself with the stickers, doodles, text and smileys/ Emojis.

In this update, Allo gets the support of split-screen mode to the devices running with the OS Android 7.0 Nougat. With this feature, the user can chat in one window and in parallel he can use another app on the same screen.

Google Allo will be Available in Hindi by the end of 2016

Another feature in this update is, the user can directly reply from the notification screen instead of heading into the Allo application. This feature will be live for the first time in the Android 7.0 Nougat. Apart from this, the app is updated with the Monochrome theme. This theme can be enabled from the Settings in the app.

Similar to other social messaging apps, Allo now introduced the launcher shortcut for the new conversation. It includes the Android Wear support and GIF keyboard support.  Other features in this app include the Incognito key alerts and a splash screen.

Earlier today, Google has announced an event on October 4 at San Francisco to unveil its latest smartphones. The company has teased a video on YouTube intimating rectangular exterior design with a date on the left side and Google logo “G” on the right. Google has also sent invites for the launch event and pushed a new site hinting something ‘made by Google’ and date along with it. The alleged phones are to be the Pixel and Pixel XL which have been viral in rumors in the recent past.

Reports say that the two new smartphones built by HTC will be of 5-inch and 5.5-inch screen size with all metal design. Now these devices may ship with a special version of latest Android Nougat rather than a stock version of OS like usual.

It is unclear at this moment about the specs what these Google-branded devices will be rolling out. LG V20 Officially Announced at IFA 2016

Korean tech giant LG unveiled its first smartphone LG V20 with new Android Nougat software. This new version of Android OS from Google is already available as a free update on few Google phones under the brand Nexus.

The manufacturer released its specs earlier to the eve of Apple’s iPhone new series launch at San Francisco. LG V20 expected its launch in India very soon and possesses a really slim body with a large display screen which fits comfortably in the hand.

LG V20 powered by a Qualcomm MSM8996 Snapdragon 820 processor with Adreno 530 GPU. The handset is available in two variants 32 GB and 64 GB coupled with 4GB RAM. Internal memory provided is expandable up to 256GB via dedicated microSD slot.

LG V20 features a primary camera of 16MP dual LED flash and laser auto focus which will perform a great imaging duties. 5MP front shooter is provided to enhance the selfie experience.

Connectivity options of the mobile include Bluetooth, 3G, 4G, Wi-Fi, GPS, NFC, Infrared port, USB type-C. Dual SIM option is provided for a better connectivity along with Fingerprint, accelerometer, proximity sensors.

LG introduced new 80-inch battery-powered portable Projector

LG V20 is backed with a 3200 mAh battery and enables Quick Charge 3.0 option for a faster battery charge. V20 measures a dimension of 159.6 x 79.3 x 8.6 mm and weighs about 192 grams.

LG V20 Price for this mobile in India is yet to reveal, and the manufacturer announced the device would available in Titan, Silver, and Pink colours.
