The brand Nokia which is owned by HMD global has launched two entry-level features phones – the Nokia 105 and Nokia 130. Both the basic model phone from Nokia come with upgraded designs and run on Nokia S30+ platform. This new single-SIM variant Nokia 105 price is listed at Rs 999, and the dual-SIM variant price is at Rs 1149.
Both the variants of Nokia basic phone will start selling in India from July 19. However, the company hasn’t unveiled the launch information about the Nokia 130 in India. The exact price of the device is also supposed to be rolled out at the time of its launch.
All new Nokia 105 feature phone borrows its design cue from the latest Nokia 3310. The altered look of the four year- old phone doesn’t offer anything new in its potentiality. The basic feature phone comes with a 1.8-inch color display, 4MB RAM, 4MB ROM, and 800mAh battery. The battery in the phone promises 15 hours of talk time. Nokia 105 includes connectivity options like FM Radio alongside a headphone jack and micro USB 2.0 ports. Nokia’s favorite pre-loaded games like Snake Xenzia makes places in this low price Nokia phone. The handset will be made available in Blue, Black, and White.

Next in the lineup, new Nokia 130 features a 1.8-inch display with 128 x 160 pixels resolution, 4MB RAM, and 4GB ROM. The phone comes with a 1020mAh battery which the company claims that it provides FM radio playback time up to 44 hours. Other options include Bluetooth connectivity and camera on the back. Nokia 130 price is at $21.50 ( or approx Rs 1384) in the international market and will be made available in Black, Grey, and Red.
HMD Global is also planning to launch two new phones under LYF brand when Reliance Jio is planning to bring a 4G-enabled feature phone in India. The phone is expected to be announced at the company’s annual general meeting on July 21 in Mumbai. Also, rumors suggest that the price of the HMD Global’s LYF branded phones will be under Rs 500.
