Samsung Bixby

Samsung has officially unveiled the AI digital assistant called Bixby at the Samsung Unbox 2017 event last week. The south-Korean giant believes that the digital assistant stands as one of the main highlights in the Samsung range flagships. As of now, Bixby is just confined to Samsung Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+ smartphones. The company is planning to bring the digital assistant to all its devices.

Now, the Samsung Bixby is available on Galaxy S7, Galaxy S7 edge unofficially. A user from XDA developer has installed Bixby on Galaxy S7 smartphone. Also, the user has shared the process of downloading Bixby in the forum. However, there are some users complaining Bixby not functioning properly. While some of the users claim that Bixby is only on cards, others complain about non-function of ‘Hello Bixby’ voice commands.

Samsung Bixby now gives a head to head competition with Apple’s Siri and does offer deep integration within multiple apps. Bixby brings voice commands to Samsung devices just like Similar to Apple’s Siri and Google’s Assistant. Bixby voice commands perform tasks like rotate a photo in the camera app.

Besides that, Bixby recognizes the objects using the camera and gives you relevant information about the object it sees. Bixby also translates a language, set reminders, alarms, search the web, open apps, among other functions.
