Inspired by Youth of Tamil Nadu,AP Youth Calls For Protest Seeking Special Status

AP Special Status Protest is now moving to the next level with a new turn. The youth of Andhra Pradesh has called for a protest at RK Beach, Vizag, on 26 January demanding Special Status for the state. Popular Telugu actor and Jana Sena Party leader Pawan Kalyan announced his support Andhra Pradesh youth for their AP Special Status Protest. Jayaprakash Narayan, Ys Jagan and other Tollywood Celebrities had tweeted supporting the protest.

Taking cues from the Tamils for ‘Jallikattu’ and their victory, AP youth called for AP demands Special Status protest. And the hashtags #APDemandsSpecialStatus‘ and ‘#APSelfRespectMoment‘ are viral in the social media as the youth took the initiation. The rage grabbed all the attention and requesting people to co-operate irrelevant to political parties.

Discussing the facts, Andhra Pradesh is demanding nothing new except the assurances given by former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh. Centre Gives Nod to Ordinance on Tamilnadu Jallikattu

The Centre announced about the clearance of the ordinance on allowing Tamilnadu Jallikattu on Friday. The state government proposed an issue of allowing the bull taming sport. Hence on Friday, the Environment Ministry sent its reply, and Home Ministry gave its approval.

“The ordinance cleared by the Home Ministry and the State government can declare it by introducing it either as a Bill in the Assembly or the State Cabinet can clear it. It doesn’t have to go to the President of India for his approval since his authorities vested with the Home Ministry,” said by the official.

According to the reports, Prime Minister ensured that the ordinance cleared the situation. The law expected to contain provisions of prohibiting cruelty to animals and measures the safety of people. Earlier, the bull taming sport banned following a Supreme Court order in the month of May 2014.

Tamil Nadu police have put nearly more than 500 people in Jail in several places in Madurai District. Youths were arrested at Mudakathan, Alanganallur, Palamedu and Vilangudi in Madurai district. As we know, Supreme Court has imposed a ban on Jallikattu game and protests still running and demanding that the bull festival be held. The protest had done in a small town near Madurai called Alanganallur.

The Police official in Madurai said, “Nearly 200 people have been taken into protective custody. They had gathered illegally, despite several warnings by the police. Very soon, they will be released.”

Every year Jallikattu probably called as Eruthazhuvuthal locally is conducting in Tamil Nadu as a part of Pongal celebrations. Many people in the state took the bull game as prestigious and several people also injured during this game.

Jallikattu has remained banned for the last three years. Recently, Supreme Court has forced a ban on the practice quoting animal welfare issues.

Recently, DMK working president Stalin responded over the Jallikattu, and war of words had broken out between Stalin and Animal rights non-profit PETA over the Tamil Nadu Jallikattu. Stalin called the animal rights NGO as “Anti-National” and the group calling the criticism “Cheap and Ineffective.”

Stalin said, “Center should immediately ban the International NGO PETA which is in contradiction of our culture and tradition and called PETA as ‘Anti-National.’ He also favored replacing Animal Welfare Board of India with a different body with more Tamil representation in it. Respond to DMK president Stalin words; PETA said, “It was Cheap and Ineffective and supporting cruelty is not a quality of Indian.”
