The US Department of Labor has registered a case against Oracle, claiming that the popular technology Giant has a complete exercise of paying white male workers rather than other and female candidates with the same job titles.

In the compliant, they also mentioned that the company takes only Asian people in its employing and hiring practices for product development and other technical roles which resulted in hiring discrimination against non-Asian applicants.

Oracle on Wednesday in a statement responding about the case and said it is “politically motivated based on false allegations and entirely without worth.”

The Labor Department of the United States said the claim is the result of a review of Oracle’s equal employment opportunity practices at its headquarters in Redwood Shores, California. According to the case, Oracle has rejected to fulfill with the agency’s “routine requests” for employment data and records.

The Labor department said, “As a federal contractor, Oracle is banned from engaging in employment perception on the basis of race, color, sex, sexual orientation or gender identity or national origin and is required to applicants and employees in all aspects of employment.”

Earlier, the US Labor department also takes legal action on Google, claiming that the company has refused to provide the department with employee payment records and other information as part of an appraisal designed to confirm it isn’t discriminating against workers based on gender.

Especially in technical and leadership positions, big companies such as Oracle, Google and others were dominated by the White male workers. Big Companies have made public commitments to improve gender and national assortment in recent years. But the change has been slow to come.
