BSNL Offers Unlimited Local and STD Calls at Rs. 144

The state-run telecom network provider, BSNL (Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited) joined in the list of offering free Unlimited Local and STD calls. BSNL Karnataka Circle announced its New Plan Voucher for both prepaid and postpaid customers.

Under this offer, with a recharge of Rs. 144, subscribers can avail Unlimited Local and STD Calls. This pack offers free calls for the first 30 days and which comes with a validity of 180 days. Users can avail 300MB data and this BSNL offer valid only in BSNL Karnataka Circle.

BSNL Offers: 1 Hour Talk Time For 1 Rupee

Along with this promotional offer, company also introduced another BSNL offer at the time of taking new BSNL connection. Upon recharge with Rs. 439, users can avail free unlimited calls for three months. As per the fair usage policy, calls to other network limited to half an hour per day.

By recharging with Rs. 144, subscribers can avail

  • All voice calls (Local/STD) (on net/off net) free for first 30 days for new connections.
  • All Local and STD calls (on net/off net) at 80paise per minute for Video & Voice (home and national roaming) call charge.
  • This plan comes with a validity of 180 days.
  • Local SMS charges at 50paise/SMS.
  • SMS charge (national roaming) at 25paise/SMS (local) and 38paise/SMS (STD).
  • Data will charge at 3paise/10KB.
BSNL Free Voice Plans for 3 months at Rs 439 and Rs 149 for 1 month

Besides this, BSNL all set to launch LTE spectrum throughout the country. For the reason, the company obtained 2500MHz from the government. The launch of LTE spectrum mainly focuses on rural areas of the country. This promotional offer is valid in BSNL Karnataka Circle only for all new customers.

On the occasion of 68th Republic day, the teleco unveils this BSNL offers for prepaid customers. The company said this is one of the “many promotional offers”.

BSNL also introduces two other combo vouchers for providing double talk time benefits. You can avail the double talk time benefits if recharged with combo special tariff voucher of Rs. 6801 and 1.5 talk time with combo special tariff voucher of Rs. 2601. BSNL CMD Anupam Shrivastava said “This offer is also available at one month plan, but users have to pay Rs 149 for free voice calls. This promotional offer is applicable from January 24th, all new customers and users of other operators can join into the BSNL under number portability.

He also said customers are coming forward to get our service which has helped us to increase our market share by 1% since March 2015 even in the hyper-competitive telecom services market.

As per the policy calls which are connected to other network are only permitted for only half an hour, and consumers can purchase the plan from channel partners, retail distributors and customer service centers across the country.

Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL), consistently been among the top two or three telecom operators in terms of new subscriber additions. The company announced that they are re-launching the ‘Truly unlimited’ 3G data plan.

Last year in the month of December, BSNL launched their second Truly unlimited data plan for 3G subscribers. However, within a month the plan was rolled back because of free violation of their free usage 3G plan by users.

Hence, BSNL made an announcement regarding relaunch of same 3G plan with the same price and also with the same scheme.

BSNL Announces Mobile TV Service “Ditto TV” for Its Customers
  • Unlimited 3G data for 14 days.

The company expected to launch cheaper and bolder plans and packs on 26th January, i.e., Republic Day. According to the reports, the upcoming new launches will include unlimited packages with time duration of one or two days as well.

Apart from Reliance Jio offer of unlimited voice calls and free data, BSNL right now offers Truly Unlimited plans. Besides Rs. 498 unlimited 3G plan, currently the company offers another pack of Truly unlimited data and calls. On recharge with Rs. 1099, all the subscribers can avail unlimited data and BSNL-to-BSNL calls. And this plan is still active.

As compared to other recently launched packs, the unlimited calls and 3G/4G data came with a validity of one month and priced at Rs 500.  The only advantage of choosing BSNL Truly unlimited 3G data that the telecom offering. Its rivals Bharti Airtel, Vodafone India and Idea Cellular already announced their new packs in counter to Reliance Jio.

To give tough competition to the other telecom operators in the country, stated-owned Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) has launched two services namely Mobil TV service Ditto TV and Limited fixed-mobile telephony (FMT) app that virtually turns mobiles into a cordless phone in sync with landlines within home premises.

BSNL said that the latest limited Fixed Mobile Telephony (FMT) service is different from the contentious Fixed Mobile Telephony service which has announced earlier, but remains closed following an intense opposition from cellular operators.

BSNL Unveils Unlimited Local and STD calls at Rs 144

BSNL Chairman and Managing Director Anupam Shrivastava told, “The previous Service Tolerable customers on roaming in India and overseas to connect their landlines through mobile and make calls through. But this service is restricted within the home premises.”

“I didn’t anticipate any objection to this limited service. To get this service, users must have BSNL’s landline, mobile and broadband connection,” he added.

Shrivastava said, “Landline subscribers find it difficult to get the contact details from mobiles and then dial the number on fixed line. This service will turn the mobile handset into a cordless device within the home premises. By this, consumers can still get the attractive landline tariffs of BSNL like free calls on Sundays and night time calling.”

Reliance Jio TV: 368 more live TV channels on Reliance Jio TV now

“For smartphone users, they need to download the app and connect with BSNL Wi-Fi modem. The user can receive and also be able to make outgoing calls on smartphone handsets. This service is not linked with mobile service operator or SIM in the mobile,” BSNL mentioned in a statement.

For BSNL Ditto TV service, BSNL customers need to download the Ditto TV app from the Play store and install it. Later you can register for Ditto TV and use the service which is available on subscription charge at Rs 20 per month and is also pushed with Data Special Tariff Voucher for recharge of Rs 223.

Moreover, through Ditto TV, subscribers can view more than 80 live TV channels including HD channels also. Ditto Mobile TV service has multiscreen options as it can be considered on both iOS and android devices such as mobiles, tablets, laptops or TV.
