Reliance Jio has added 25 more channels after to its TV streaming app ‘JioTV.’ Jio has added 55 new channels back in August after renaming post its commercial launch. Jio TV now offers 368 live TV channels which include 52 HD channels for Jio users. Entertainment channels like Movies Now 2 and Infotainment channels like History TV takes place in the popular TV streaming service in the latest addition.

Jio also added news channels like Magicbricks, ABP Asmita, BBC News and Oriya Channels like Suvarna HD and Suvarna Plus HD. Back in last month, the streaming TV service has added popular regional channels like Asianet, Mahua, Raj for Jio users.

However, JioTV offers a catch-up feature for last 7 days is presently free for all Jio users until next year but the service provider may charge a premium for it after that. In spite of missing popular movie and English entertainment channels, it is expected that Jio may add those channels too before the launch of its IPTV services through superfast Gigafiber broadband.

Recent reports say that Reliance Jio Infocomm’s user base has crossed 24 million marks, and is growing quickly adding up to a million users per day, as Reliance aims to reach 100 million customer mark by March 2017. Reliance Jio is offering 4G coverage in 18,000 cities and more than 2 lakh villages. As of now, the telecom is covering over 70% of India’s population and plans to extend the coverage to 90% of the population by next year.

Bharati Airtel has aligned with Zee group’s Ditto TV to counter Jio’s live TV streaming app. Ditto provides fewer popular channels which most of them are from its parent Zee Networks. In addition to this, Vodafone Play is also offering entertainment content such as full-length movies, Live TV shows, and music from different genres.
