BSNL users can now get 2GB data per day and unlimited voice calling for 60 days with this sixer 666 plan. The unlimited calling doesn’t have any network limitations within India, and the provided free data can be used only under 3G network.

We are committed to providing affordable and efficient services to all segments of our mobile customers,” says, R.K.Mittal, Director (CM) BSNL Board while commenting about the sixer 666 plan.

However, all these plans are been formulated keeping Relaince Jio in mind. The new pattern of providing unlimited voice calls bundled with limited data is been initiated by Relaince Jio.

Earlier this month, BSNL has announced Chaukka-444 plan for pre-paid customers which provides 4 GB data per day validity is 90 days. Essentially, this plan reduced cost per GB to Rs 1.23 making one of the cheapest in the country.

BSNL Rs.339 plan launched back in march raised another price war by providing unlimited calling and 2GB data per day. This BSNL 339 plan was a huge hit with more than 400 TB data consumption in one single day. Later, the telecom has increased the data limit to 3GB per day.

Thus, BSNL now offers 2 GB per day, 3 GB per day and 4 GB per day plans for its users along with unlimited voice calling bundled with it. On the other hand, BSNL is also planning to launch the much needed 4G services across 15 states by October 2017.

BSNL Triple Ace plan is priced at Rs.333 and does offer unlimited 3G speed up to 3GB per day valid for 90 days. The plan provides benefits of a total of 270 GB 3G data for just Rs.333. On the other hand, Reliance Jio, Airtel, Vodafone are providing 4G speeds for data consumptions. Though, BSNL Triple Ace plan is a good deal if you have a great BSNL connectivity in your region.

BSNL New Rs. 249 Plan Offers up to 300GB Data, Free Night Calls

Another interesting plan which BSNL launched is Dil Khol Ke Bol plan for Rs 349. This new BSNL plan provides unlimited local and STD calls in the circle and 2GB data per day with 3G speeds. However, post data will be offered with a reduced speed of 80 Kb per second. This could take Reliance Jio’s latest Dhan Dhana Dhan offer which provides 1GB 4G data per day for 84 days.

BSNL Revised STV 339 plan to offer 3GB Data Per Day; Know Other Plans

BSNL Nehle Pe Dehla offer provides 3000 minutes of on-net calls and 1800 minutes of off-net calling. Besides that, the plan also provides 2GB data with a 3G speed at Rs.395 valid for 71 days.

BSNL Ties up with AdPay to Offer India’s First MVNO, eyes Rs 500 crore

Bharat Sanchar Nigam Ltd joined hands with mobile payment provider AdPay in offering services under India’s first Virtual telecom firm, Aerovoyce. BSNL is expecting to garner Rs 500 crore from the MVNO (Mobile Virtual Network Operator).

The state owned telco will get 10-15 crore in the first year for allowing bulk data and voice minutes to AdPay which has first launched MVNO service in Tamil Nadu including Chennai circle over former’s 2G and 3G networks, before pan-India rollout.

“We expect to get Rs 500 crore from the VNO (virtual network operator) business in the first year on an incremental basis,” BSNL chairman and managing director, Anupam Shrivastava said, adding that MVNO offers an opportunity as a good revenue driver.

Users can expect the decrease in cost of telecom services from companies and attractive offers into the market with the entry of MVNOs. Last year, the Department of Telecommunications releases the licence guidelines for MVNOs.

Aerovoyce will also offer SIM card (voice, data, mobile internet), broadband internet, fiber internet and international traveller’s SIM cards. Sivakumar Kuppusamy, chief executive officer of ADPAY said, “We will be investing Rs 300 crore in the next three years for our MVNO services.”

It will target on smaller towns and villages and it’s going to expand to 22 circles or service areas in the coming year with the aim of targeting one lakh customers in the first quarter of service launch.

Anupam Shrivastava said, “It fills the marketing gap. BSNL has robust network, but there was some gap in reaching out to customers. This tie-up will help bridge that gap.” He added, ““BSNL is in advanced stage of discussion with a few more companies that are planning to enter the MVNO service. ADPAY will launch the services in less than six weeks.

MVNO business is expected to account for five per cent of the BSNL’s mobile revenue.”
