BSNL Revamps Data Packs to Offer More Data under BSNL Holi Offer

As the Holi festival is almost near, the state-run telecom operator BSNL (Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited) revamped the existing data plans for their subscribers. According to the reports, the new Data Packs are effective, and the users whoever recharges those plans will get the benefits which are currently offering.

Customers have to note that the released Data Packs under BSNL Holi Offer will be available for only one week, i.e., up to 17th March 2016. Users have to recharge before the mentioned validity period in order to avail the benefits. The telecom network has revamped its Data Packs are Rs. 156, Rs. 198, Rs. 291 and Rs. 549.

BSNL Rs. 156 Pack

  • Users can get 4GB of data with a validity of 10 days
  • It offers 7GB of 3G data for 28 days

BSNL Rs. 196 Offer

  • Provides 3G data
  • Now the company is offering additional 4G data under BSNL Holi Offer

BSNL Rs. 291 and Rs. 549 Packs

  • Currently, the company offering 14GB and 30GB data respectively.
  • 291 plan comes with a validity period of 28 days
  • The Rs. 549 pack is valid for 30 days.
  • These two packs are made available for only weeks, i.e., from 10th March 2017 to 17th March 2017.
  • Customers have to recharge these packs before 17th March to enjoy the benefits.

Besides these BSNL Holi Dhamaka for data packs, the company is also offering talktime plans. Upon recharging with Rs. 190 the company now offers 220 worth talktime. By recharging with Rs. 490 talktime plan, users can avail 600 worth talktime. Both these plans also come with a validity of 28 days. The price of the newly revamped 3G Data Plans and talktime packs may vary from state to state.

BSNL to Begin Recruitment Process for 2510 Junior Telecom Officers Through GATE Score from March 6

The Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited have come up with BSNL JTO Recruitment through Gate 2017 advertisement for huge numbers of openings. BSNL partners Ministry of Tourism to Offer Free SIM Cards to Foreign Tourists with E-Visa

Free BNSL SIM card at Airport for Foreign Tourists

To promote tourism in India and to encourage e-visa, Ministry of Tourism partners with BSNL to offer free SIM cards to foreign tourists with e-visa. Tourism Minister Mahesh Sharma launched this scheme on Wednesday to help foreign tourists in communication in India.

By arriving in India, foreign tourists will get free BSNL SIM cards from the government, which would be loaded with Rs 50 talk time and 50 MB data.

The Tourism Minister recently visited Sri Lanka there foreign tourists are providing the same. Hence he decided to launch this scheme in India.

Mahesh Sharma said, “This unique initiative will facilitate the foreign tourists in communicating with their acquaintances immediately after their arrival in India. A tourist helpline in twelve foreign languages is already there so that the foreign tourists can get the required information in their own language.”

Minister also said that the demonetization had no adverse impact on the tourists in the country as it has increased during the last few months. Mahesh Sharma presented the first kit containing SIM to a representative of Travel and Tourism sector.

Free SIM cards for tourists are available at Delhi’s Indira Gandhi International Airport; tourists can get that while arriving at the airport. Soon it would extend to 15 other international airports.

The SIM card will have a Validity of 30 days and helps the tourists to connect with tourist helpline number round the clock and is available in 12 international languages. The helpline number: 1800111363 was launched along with SIM card. The tourists have to wait for 5-6 hours to activate the new SIM card and after relevant documents.

Indian Association of Tour Operators (IATO) has called out this initiation, as this scheme will benefit more than a million tourists from 161 countries who visits India using e-visa.

Rajeev Kohli, India Association of Tour Operators senior vice-president, said, “I think we are the first country to give free SIM cards to the tourists. Its a great gesture and will make the arrival experience better for the travellers.”

BSNL Launches Unlimited Internet Facility Through DSPT Services

The Indian telecom operator BSNL announced about the Unlimited Satellite Phone-based Internet to the MHT security agencies through satellite phone or DSPT Services. The state-owned service provider mentioned that it is offering speed of 64kpbs through DSPT Plan DSPT UL 7099 at Rs. 7,099.

Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) said that it had received some requests from the security agencies to reduce the price of unlimited internet access facility at 64kpbs. Through DSPT Plan the prevailing Rs. 9,999 per month along with service tax to an affordable price.

BSNL Slashes Its Monthly Unlimited Call Rental to Rs.49

The DSPT Services are only the mode of communication to the troop at border areas, different terrain areas and remote places on the pan-India basis. Hence BSNL announced by taking the requests into consideration they have reduced the cost Rs. 9,999 per month with extra service tax to Rs. 7,099 (service tax extra) per month.

To provide the Unlimited Satellite Phone-based Internet, the company reduced the cost of the plan in respect of unlimited internet facility through DSPT services. The telecom network claimed that it is an only service provider who was offering DSPT Plan at a cheaper rate for the nation serving security agencies.

BSNL Provides 1GB of Mobile Data for Rs 36 to Attack Jio

Moreover, last month BSNL launched a new special tariff plan of Rs. 26 for the unlimited voice calls to all the networks for 26 hours. This plan comes with validity up to 31st March 2017. Additionally, it launched the Rs. 149 plan voucher as a promotional offer for its prepaid subscribers to make both local and STD calls free for first 30 days. The Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited announced that it subscribers can get free unlimited calls for three months by recharging with Rs. 493.

BSNL Slashes Its Monthly Unlimited Call Rental to Rs.49

State-run BSNL surprised its users with its new offer on Monday. The telecom operator has cut down the unlimited calling monthly rental to half. The plan provides unlimited calls to any network from a landline on Sundays and night hours. Now with the revised rate, the user only needs to pay Rs. 49 of which Rs. 99 actual.

With this plan, Customer can avail first six months for fixed monthly charge of Rs 49 and then, will be charged as per the regular plan of the respective area.

BSNL Provides 1GB of Mobile Data for Rs 36 to Attack Jio

“To attract new customers to experience wireline services, BSNL launched a very cost effective and affordable promotional landline voice plan ‘Experience LL 49‘,” BSNL said in a statement.

BSNL customers under this plan can make unlimited calls every Sunday, and during night hours 9 pm to 7 am. The telco has also slashed its 3G mobile Internet rates by about three-fourths to counter Reliance Jio. Also, with the revised rates, 3G mobile data is as low as Rs. 36 per GB under a special pack.

“BSNL is the only operator which offers such a low-cost landline voice plan in the country,” said N K Gupta, Director (CFA), BSNL Board. “Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) has decided to offer up to four times extra data on existing data STVs (special tariff vouchers) available in the market,” he added.

BSNL Offers Unlimited Local and STD Calls at Rs. 144

BSNL offers its customers 8GB of data on Rs. 291 plan, which is four times of 2GB earlier. Also, Rs 78 plan doubles the data at 2GB. This would be the lowest tariff plan BSNL offers to its customers. The telecom operator has set a benchmark of offering 1GB of data at Rs. 50.
