Amazon India to Provide 1200 Job Opportunities for its New 7 Warehouses

Online marketing retailer, Amazon India announced that it had opened seven new warehouses in a process to boost up their sales for the high-priced products. The company has set up Fulfilment Centres to cater larger appliances like Refrigerators, Televisions and Furniture. And the move started by Amazon also creates 1200 Job opportunities.

Amazon India has invested $5 billion in the Indian market and along with these the company also set up 33 new delivery stations to meet the demand of ordering by the users. Currently, Amazon has 34 warehouses across ten states which are far higher than its rival Flipkart. Apart from this, two Fulfilment Centres are already established in Mumbai and Gurgaon.

The Amazon India Vice President, Akhil Saxena said, “We have set up a dedicated infrastructure of nine FCS and 33 exclusive delivery stations that will secure faster and reliable delivery of large appliances and furniture to more than 150 cities. Between the nine dedicated FCs and 33 distribution locations, about 1200 new job opportunities will be created. These will be a mix of temporary and on-roll jobs.”

In order to boost up the sales in the respective category, Amazon India introduced exchange schemes and also the no-cost EMI service. The e-commerce giant also planned to increase its product collection and is also ties up with new brands.

According to the reports, by implementing new seven warehouses, the online retailer will deliver larger products and furniture in more than 150 cities. It also offers 2-days delivery next-day delivery option in 20 cities. Over the past year, the gross sales of large appliances have increased to 200 percent. In addition to introducing warehouses, Amazon India is also offering installation services for the large appliances.

Amazon Launches AmazonFresh Pickup a New Grocery Pickup Service

E-commerce giant Amazon is gearing up with a new strategy to take on retail giants like Wal-Mart Stores Inc. ‘AmazonFresh Pickup’ to be launched as a move to crack into the billion dollar grocery market. As of now, this grocery pickup service is in testing stage in Seattle.

Presently, AmazonFresh pickup service is available for Amazon employees. Sooner or later, Amazon Prime members can avail this service to order groceries online and drive to a pickup location. Also, Amazon crews will deliver items to the car for the members under the Prime loyalty program.

The company says that the order will be ready to pick in a time span of just 15 minutes after placing the order. Besides that, AmazonFresh service offers groceries delivery to home. However, this new service will only be limited to Amazon Prime members.

The company says that delivering groceries to homes under its AmazonFresh service is the latest way to shop. Available items include fresh produce, bread, dairy, meats and a range of household item and few others.  Currently, the service is under pilot run in two locations at Seattle, the city where Amazon is headquartered. Also, Amazon has a physical bookstore in Seattle and pop-ups at malls where it displays Amazon devices like Kindle.

Amazon Go convenience store in Seattle automatically monitors the selected items and adds to a virtual cart. Though, the store is open exclusively for Amazon employees as of now. Amazon has the grocery delivery service in some cities previous.

Nokia 150 Dual Sim Feature Phone Launched in India at Rs. 2059

The new owners of brand name Nokia, HMD Global announced the new Nokia 150 and Nokia 150 Dual Sim features phones back in the month of December 2016. The company said that the sales of these handsets would go on sale from the quarter of 2017 but the Nokia 150 Dual Sim phones are now available on e-commerce portals Amazon and Flipkart.

Nokia 150 Dual Sim feature phones goes on sale in the e-commerce portals and the company commenced the Nokia 150 Dual Sim Price starts at Rs. 2059. Nokia made the availability of the feature phones in Black and White colour variants.

As far as the Nokia 150 Dual Sim Specifications are concerned, it sports a polycarbonate shell of 2.4-inch QVCA display with a screen resolution of 240×320 pixels. Nokia 150 Dual Sim equipped with an expandable storage of 32GB via microSD card slot.

The Nokia 150 Dual Sim feature phone is embedded with 1020mAh battery capacity, and the company claims that the battery charge can last for a long time, i.e., upto 22hours. It also features inbuilt FM Radio, MP3 Player, Bluetooth 4.0 along with Nokia branded games like Snake and Nitro Racing. It comes with scratch resistant colour and also features a camera with LED flash.

HMD Global has recently unveiled the Nokia-branded smartphones at the MWC 2017 event and also added that the redesigned Nokia 3310 is expected to launch ahead of the Android phones. On Friday, the company also confirmed that the Nokia 3, Nokia 5 and Nokia 6 are going to launch in the second quarter, i.e., April to June in 120 markets including India at affordable prices.

Many of the advertisers are demanding Google the discounted prices for advertisements of them are appearing after the extremist videos and hate speech videos on YouTube. According to the reports, after this month revelation, the companies like Walmart, PepsiCo, Amazon, Starbucks and much more are announced that they suspended their advertising.

Along with Johnson & Johnson, Volkswagen, the telecom companies such as AT&T and Verizon also pulled their ads from the Google’s YouTube earlier this week. Currently, about 400 hours of video posted each minute and over 1billion hours of video consumed each day on YT.

Google announced that it has promised to give permission for the brands direct control and insight of where their ads placed on YouTube and other Google-partnered third party websites. The search giant also said that they are implementing artificial intelligence powered filtering to detect and fix the offensive language and other hateful content in the video.
