According to reports, these two stores will be inaugurated in Chicago and San Francisco. Though, no official date has been announced regarding the grand opening but it’s on the cards. This news however was first released by the Seattle Times and now it seems, it is true.
Talking about Amazon Go, it’s a revolutionary store that holds almost everything. There are no cashiers present, it’s just you and the AI technology who will help each other in shopping. The Seattle store has got cameras and multiple sensors that track customers as well as the inventories when they move around. You just have to download the Amazon Go app, and you’re all set. The technology will do everything for you, right from start till the end.
According to a Seattle Times review of the store there, the “natural grab-and-go experience … was about as easy and painless as promised.”
We all know Amazon’s grocery business. It holds its own Amazon Fresh grocery along with Whole Foods. People are expecting more from this store in terms of product availability, variety and niche grocery items. Currently, there is only one Amazon Go store in Seattle which was made public way back in January.
