The Chinese Smartphone company Xiaomi had rolled out its new smartphone MI Max today along with the MIUI 8 ROM at an event on 10th May 2016 in Beijing, China. Coming up with a massive display of 6.44-inches and makes it the largest of all the smartphones by the company.
Mi Max made of a metal body has an ultra-sim design weighing about 203 gms. The dimensions of the new smartphone are 173.1 x 88.3mm x 7.5mm The Company announced that the MI MAX would be available in three different variants & three different colours namely Gold, Silver and Dark Grey.
The basic model of Mi Max is accompanied with 3GB RAM and runs on the Qualcomm 650 hexacore processor. It has storage space of 32GB costing 1,499 RMB equivalent to$230. Whereas the midrange one among the trio comes for 1,699 RMB nearly $ 261 features with 3GB RAM and 64GB memory. It is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 652 quad-core processor.
The high featured among the three smartphones of Mi Max is equipped with a Snapdragon quad-core 652 processor and a 4GB RAM with doubled 128 GB storage capacity. It comes with a price of 1,999 RMB which is $307.
All the three variants of Xiaomi Mi Max comes with a 4850mAh Non-removal Battery and having 16 MP rear camera with LED flash and the front portion has a 5 MP shooter. They all support dual micro sim (both GSM) and a micro SD card option for extending memory and runs on Android marshmallow 6.0 version. The smartphone also had a Finger scanner on the backside & different sensors like Proximity sensor, Ambient light sensor, and Accelerometer is included.
Xiaomi’s new skin MIUI 8 is also announced at the same event. The new ROM would be featuring a new improved design and a notification bar. The inclusion of a power-saving mode along with inbuilt QR code scanner & ability to detect the spam messages is some of the major updations of MIUI 8.
The newly released three variants are far better both in price as well as specs when compared to the previous smartphone models of Xiaomi.
