The company’s recent stand of 25 million handsets in last three years has proved once again. Also, this makes a record of the fastest company ever to claim this number of handsets sold.

Ever since its launch in July 2014, Xiaomi constantly impresses users with the best offering in the cheapest possible rate. Particularly, the Redmi series has established the brand Xiaomi strongly in India. Wonder How many Xiaomi smartphones will be sold per day? Well, the figure almost equals 22,000 units per day over the past three years.

“Xiaomi has sold record 22,000 units, per day in the last three years.” Xiaomi VP and MD, India, Manu Kumar tweeted the numbers and figures, disclosing their sales in the last three years. In fact, the calculation translates the sale of 916 Xiaomi smartphones per minute.

The Chinese smartphone company has entered India with the launch of Mi 3 back in 2014. Affordable pricing is the key factor which attracted the most of the users towards the Xiaomi smartphones. Also, the premium feature offerings from Xiaomi could be accounted for the sale numbers in India.

Recently launched Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 claims to be the best-selling smartphone till date with over 5 million units sold in six months. This alone could be the enough reason to say that Redmi Note 4 is the fastest selling smartphone in the first quarter of 2017.

Despite the fact that Xiaomi smartphones is targeting the budget segment in India, Xiaomi Redmi 4A has huge demand in the country. It set a record milestone of 250,000 units sold in just four minutes in its first flash sale. Xiaomi smartphones were first made available for purchase only online. Over a period of time, Xiaomi offline sales and Mi Home stores were rolled out in the country.
