The Mukesh Ambani-owned Reliance Industries has set the Indian Telecom Industry into a tug of war after announcing its Reliance Jio before five months. Recently, the company introduced Jio Prime Offer of 1GB data per day, and unlimited voice calls for Rs. 303 per month. Its rivals Vodafone and Idea launched the similar plans to counter Reliance Jio.
Idea Cellular launched the similar tariff plan by offering 14GB of 4G data and unlimited voice calls by recharging with Rs. 345 with a validity period of 28 days. Subscribers have to note that they can acquire 500MB data per day and it is not clear that the beyond data limit whether it will be charged or not.
Vodafone India has been in the telecom war race by announcing its new tariff plan soon after its rivals introduced new offers. The company offering unlimited voice calls to any network and coupled with 1GB of 4G data per day just for Rs. 346 with a validity of 28 days. Vodafone already attracted the customers by offering double data and double validity benefits for the first-time users.
Bharti Airtel also announced its new plan soon after Jio Prime Offer had introduced news came out. It is offering 1GB data per day, and unlimited voice calls both Local and STD to any network for Rs. 349 for 28 days. In the same Vodafone and Idea introduced the similar tariff plans with STV345 and these offers unlimited voice calls to any network across the country and high-speed data.
So, those who are taking the Vodafone connection first time upon recharge with Rs. 346 they can enjoy the double benefits of 56GB data with 56 days of validity. For the Jio users, they first have to subscribe to the Jio Prime Membership before 31st March 2017 with Rs. 99 to enjoy Rs. 303 plan along with free add-ons. The rival companies Bharti Airtel, Vodafone and Idea, announced the new tariff plans only for their prepaid customers.
