BSNL FRC 298 plan with unlimited data and calls launched to compete with Jio & Airtel 4G plans

BSNL FRC 298 plan: To counter the offers given by Airtel and Jio 4G telecom operators, BSNL launches its new Rs 298 unlimited plan for its users. This move is also aimed to join more customers in BSNL network.

In the First Recharge (FRC) Rs 289 plan, BSNL offers unlimited voice calls both on STD and local calls all over any network in India with unlimited data for 56 days. The customers can access 1GB data daily after that internet speed is reduced to 80kbps. However, the company has not mentioned the FUP limit for voice calls. BSNL Rs 298 plan is valid for 56 days.

Airtel announces 399 offer countering Jio Dhan Dhana Dhan offer

The users can subscribe to this plan in the next 180 days from August 7 until November 4, 2017. This promotional plan launched by BSNL is only applicable on the first recharge. The state owned telecom operator, BSNL is still struggling to match with Reliance Jio’s unlimited Data and calls in its new plan Rs 349 Offer and Airtel Rs 399 plan.

Airtel Rs 399 plan provides 1GB data, and unlimited voice calls at a FUP limit of 300 minutes per day and 1200 minutes a week. The offer is valid for 84 days. Jio Rs 349 plan offers 20GB data over the entire period of 56 days. That means 10GB data on first 28 days and other 10GB on the next 28 days. After the data limit, the speed will be reduced to 128kbps for next days.

BSNL is also trying to recapture the Indian telecom market with back to back free data and calling plans. They recently launched BSNL 333 Plan, BSNL Chauka 444 Plan, and BSNL Sixer 666 Plan, etc.

  • For non-prime members, the telecom operator providing the above offers for Rs. 408 and Rs. 608.

Bharti Airtel

  • Under 399 plan, users (with 4G Smartphones & 4G Sim) can get 1GB data per day and free calls of 3000 minutes for 70 days. If the limited minutes got over, then the user will be charged Rs. 0.10 per minute. For Airtel-Airtel network, subscribers can avail 300 minutes per day and 1,200 minutes is the limit per week.
  • 345 plan where customers can get 2GB data per day and free calls.
  • Under 244 plan, the user can avail 1GB data for 70 days and 1,200 minutes of calls to other network and 300 minutes for Airtel to Airtel.
  • For the postpaid users, the company is offering 30GB of additional free data for next three months. This offer is valid for the users who joined Airtel network through ‘My Airtel App’.

Idea Cellular

  • 297 plan offers 1GB data per day for 70 days, 300 minutes of free calling per day and 1200 minutes to other networks. After exceeding 1200 minutes, users will be charged 30 paise per minute.
  • Under 447 plan, the telecom network offers 1GB data per day and 3000 minutes free calling to any network for 70 days. Upon exceeding the limit, 30 paise per minute will be charged.

Vodafone India

  • 352 plan offers 1GB data per day, unlimited Local and STD calls for 56 days.

After the recent announcement of revised Airtel Prepaid plans, the Jio-Airtel rivalry is head-to-head. Now, Airtel has announced Double Your Holiday Surprises offer for its post paid customers. This new offer from Airtel provides 10GB free data for one more month in addition to the ‘Surprise’ offer.

Initially, the Airtel surprise offer gave 10GB of free data for its users valid for three months. Now, this offer adds another 10 GB of free for 1 more month. Beside this, the order deadline of March 31 has been extended to April 30.

“This double holiday surprise is our way of saying thank you for being part of the Airtel family. We are always striving to enrich the lives of our customers who have trusted us and believed in us over the years,” airtel said in a statement.

On the other hand, Airtel is promising “the best international roaming rates” to its users. The roaming packs will now automatically gets activated even when a customer’s data usage crosses the price plan. For instance, if the daily pack of that particular country costs Rs.999, Airtel automatically activates the plans after surpassing the limit. However, user will be charged accordingly if he/she consumes less data.

This exclusive offer for post paid customers with Airtel’s new Rs 399 pack for prepaid users. This 399 plan provides unlimited local and STD calls and 1GB of 4G data per day.

Airtel 4G Prepaid plan :

Bharti Airtel provides 28 GB of 4G data for Rs 345 with validity period of 28 days. FUP will be 500 MB in day time and 500 MB from 12 am to 6 am. The Airtel 4G Rc 549 prepaid plan comes users will be provided with a 28 GB data per 28 days with 1GB FUP per day. The only thing that varies with the prior plan is the FUP limit. Both the 4G Prepaid plans of Airtel are valid for 28 days.

Airtel 4G Unlimited for Post-paid users :

Starting from March 13 Airtel will be rolling out free data to all its post-paid customers on the occasion of being rated as the best 4G provider by Ookla. No details regarding the call or data caps are been released officially. The data limit for the post-paid users will be updated in the Airtel mobile application.

Vodafone 4G Internet plan:

To give other networks a tough competition in the 4G market Vodafone has launched the Rs. 346 recharge pack. Users who recharge with RC 346 would get 28GB of 4G mobile data. Airtel Offers Free Data for its Postpaid Customers Starting from 13th March 2017

India’s leading telecom operator, Bharti Airtel has been named as the fastest mobile network in the country by Ookla (World’s credible speed test organisation). The company CEO, Gopal Vittal announced that they are sending an email to all the postpaid customers teasing about the surprise in order to celebrate the success.

Bharti Airtel mentioned in the email that they are offering some free data to its postpaid customers starting from 13th March 2017 as an Airtel Surprise. All the postpaid subscribers can avail this surprise data by logging into the My Airtel app. However, as of now, there is no information from the company about the amount of free data offering to its customers.

Earlier today, the company revamped an existing couple of plans to counter Jio Prime Membership offer. Out of the two, the Rs. 345 plan now it offers 1GB of 4G data every day, and unlimited free Local and STD calls with a validity period of 28 days. While through Rs. 145 plan, users can enjoy 2GB of 4G data and free unlimited local and national calls until 28 days.

However, these revamped plans are made available only those who own 4G handsets. So, all the 4G handset users of Airtel network can avail the offers. Moreover, Reliance Jio is offering the similar plan for just Rs. 303 upon paying additional Rs. 99 for a one-time subscription.

Not only Airtel, other telecom providers namely Vodafone India and Idea Cellular starts offering same benefits. It’s like the Reliance Jio Prime Membership is not only beneficial to Jio users but also other network users can enjoy the similar offers now.
