Lenovo Vibe P2 Appears On GeekBench

Lenovo Vibe P1 and Vibe P1 Turbo are most popular handsets in P series. A next version in the series Lenovo Vibe P2c72 which is announced earlier has now appeared on GeekBench, a benchmarking website. The model number will be Vibe P2, the successor of the company’s Vibe P1 that is launched in October 2015, is the smartest and fastest phone run on the Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow operating system. The device is powered by 2.02 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 SoC coupled with 4 GB of RAM which makes multitasking effective.

Well, the other specifications which a customer looks in a high-end smartphone are not yet revealed. If we see the predecessors, Vibe P1 and Vibe P1 Turbo are offered with 2GB and 3GB RAM respectively. So, Lenovo Vibe P2 is expected to have lot more impressive specs within the 4GB RAM.

Continuing the legacy, the all new Lenovo Vibe P2 might also sport a 5.5-inch Full HD AMOLED screen. In addition, the device will have a 2.5D curved glass panel, and the internal memory might be marked at 64 GB, but a variant of 32 GB is also expected. We are not sure about the expansion of internal storage but hope it could be expanded up to 128GB with a microSD card slot.

The Vibe P2 is also expected to pack a massive battery like P1 which has 5,000 mAh battery that offers nearly 44 hours of talk time. And in the optics section of new Lenovo Vibe P2, you can expect 13 MP rear camera and 5MP selfies camera at least. The device will be wrapped in metallic chassis of 8.50mm thick. Unlike the predecessor, the device will be thinner. Vibe P1 has a fingerprint scanner so, the next-gen Vibe P2 is also expected to come with the security option.

The 2016 IFA, an event for companies to launch their devices is scheduled in Berlin on 2nd September. The leading Chinese smartphone manufacturer, Lenovo will launch the new Vibe P2 at the event and reveal the specifications and price.
