Lenovo launched the Phab 2 smartphone in India on Tuesday at Rs 11,999. The phone will be available in India in Gunmetal Grey and Champagne Gold colors from 9 December 2017. As mentioned earlier, Lenovo Phab 2 will be available exclusively via Flipkart.
Lenovo launched the Phab 2 Plus in the country last month. However, the company didn’t clarify about the release of the Tango-ready phone, Phab 2 Pro in India.
The all New Lenovo Phab 2 is a downgraded model comparing to its Phab 2 Plus variant. The device sports a low screen resolution and cheap camera. Fingerprint scanner failed to make its presence on the phone.
Recalling the specs, Lenovo Phab 2 features a 6.4-inch HD display with 1280 x 720-pixel resolution. The smartphone is powered by a quad-core MediaTek MT8735 processor clocked at 1.3GHz coupled with 3GB RAM and Mali-T720 GPU. 32GB of Internal memory is provided which can be expandable up to 128GB. The device measures 88.5mm x 175mm x 5.5 mm in dimensions and Weighs around 225g.
The smartphone runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow with Vibe UI on top. The device consists of Hybrid Dual SIM slot which packs two micro SIMs and a microSD card. On camera font, 13MP rear camera with LED Flash and PDAFi equipped on the rear. Another 5MP front facing camera is provided on the rear panel for selfies. Lenovo Phab 2 packs other features like Dolby Atmos with 5.1 Dolby Audio Capture and Triple Array Microphone with Active Noise-Cancellation.
