Actor-filmmaker Kamal Haasan finally opened about his view on entering politics. Recently, the actor has said he would be willing to join superstar Rajinikanth if he ever enters politics.
According to few sources, Kamal Haasan said,”Rajini and I have been discussing professional matters. If he joins politics, it won’t be difficult for us to discuss politics. I will join him provided he enters politics. We have been rivals on the professional front, but we always consult over key issues.”
It’s not a new thing that film actors entering politics in Tamil Nadu. Right from MG Ramachandran known as MGR, Jayalalithaa, and M Karunanidhi have been successful in politics as they were in films.

Over the last few months, Kamal Haasan has been very vocal about the on-going situation in Tamil Nadu. Ever since the actor visited Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan’s home for lunch, there has been a lot of speculation of joining his party. But, Kamal Haasan clarified that his colour is not saffron when asked about his plans for any political affiliation.
The actor also claims that nobody had questioned the government when Jayalalithaa was in power, but he had, during the floods and consequentially received several threats.
In an event in Chennai, Kamal said, “I will not enter politics in haste.” Lately, he has been flooding social media with politically coloured tweets targeting the AIADMK government.
