The Chinese telecommunications company, Huawei has introduced its new flagship Huawei Mate 9 smartphone earlier this month in Germany. Along with this device, the company also unveiled the high-end variant Mate 9 Pro in China earlier this week. Now the company abruptly announced another flagship model namely Huawei Mate 9 Lite.
However, adding to the list yet another smartphone has launched, i.e., Huawei Mate 9 Lite which is the successor of Mate 9 series. The company has quietly placed this smartphone on its official web portal along with detailed features and specifications.
The Mate 9 Lite, as the name suggests it is a mid-range smartphone with a dual rear camera embedded in it. Huawei Mate 9 Lite was launched in three color variants gold, silver, and grey. The company has not mentioned anything about pricing and availability details and also not announced the global release.

Moving to the Huawei Mate 9 Lite features, the smartphone sports metal body with 5.5inch full high definition display and 2.5D natural curve design on top. More than just a phone, Mate 9 Lite is an accessory that brings your style together.
At the heart of the device, the Huawei Mate 9 Lite, packed up with Quad-core (4×2.1GHz+4×1.7 GHz) Kirin 655 processor. The smartphone is available in two variants such as 3GB of RAM with internal storage of 32GB and 4GB of RAM along with 64GB of ROM with an expandable memory of up to 256 GB microSD slot.
In the photography front, Mate 9 Lite equipped with dual camera technology which gives excellent control over the photo taking process. The 12-megapixel rear camera boosts up with a 1.25μm pixel sensor and 2-megapixel secondary camera with PDAF for 0.3-second quick focus. It has an 8-megapixel front shooter to click selfies.
The Huawei Mate 9 Lite operates on Android 6.0 and boosts up with perfect battery performance. The smartphone packed up with 3340 mAh non-removable battery life.
