Huawei P10 Unveiled at MWC 2017 : Check Specs,Features and More

The MWC 2017 (Mobile World Congress) event has been highlighted with various smartphones and other smart products. Many companies across the world take part at the event in Barcelona. As expected, the Huawei also announces its new flagship models. The company introduced Huawei P10 Plus and P10 smartphones with more upgraded functions.

Huawei P10 and Huawei P10 Plus models feature with a diamond-cut finishing which prevents from scratching and fingerprint smudges. Most interestingly, the Huawei P10 and Huawei P10 Plus available in eight colour variants namely Prestige Gold, Dazzling Blue, Greenery, Rose Gold, Ceramic White, Mystic Silver, Graphite Black and Dazzling Gold.

As for the Huawei P10 Specifications, the smartphone sports a 5.1-inch full HD display with a screen resolution of 1080×920 pixels. For the Chipset, Huawei P10 powered by Octa-core Kirin with an integrated Cat 2/11 modem and paired with 4GB of RAM. In addition to this, it packs with 64GB internal storage which can be further expandable up to 256GB via microSD. The company announced about Huawei P10 Price which starts at EUR 649 (Rs. 45,700 approx).

In the optics section, the Huawei P10 embedded with dual camera setup, i.e., it sports one 20megapixel sensor with monochrome details and 12megixapel RGB details. It also supports 4K video, face recognition, hybrid zoom, OIS and much more. Huawei P10 also bears 8megapixel front-facing camera. The dual sim support smartphone runs on Android 7.1 Nougat based EMUI 5.1 and packed with 3100mAh battery capacity.

Mobile Manufacturer Huawei had launched their Flagship models Huawei P10 and Huawei P10 plus at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2017. we had updated about the specifications and features of the  P10 variant in our previous article.

Moving to the Huawei P10 Plus Specifications, it sports a 5.5-inch 2K display with a screen resolution of 1440×2560 pixels and protected by 2.5D Gorilla Glass 5. Under the hood, Huawei P10 Plus powered by a 2.4GHz + 1.8GHz Octa-core HUAWEI Kirin 960 Processor and clubbed with 4GB/6GB of RAM. It boosted up with 64GB/128GB internal storage further expandable up to 256GB via microSD card slot.

In the photography department, the Huawei P10 Plus equipped with dual camera of 20megapixel monochrome and 12megapixel RGB with f/1.8aperture, OIS and PDAF.  For the front shooter, it bears 8megapixel camera with autofocus and f/1.9 aperture.

The smartphone supports dual sim type and runs on Android 7.1 Nougat. Huawei P10 Plus packed with 3750mAh battery capacity. Huawei has unveiled a new flagship offering to its honor series range. The new smartphone comes with a larger display and updated Android version. Besides this, Huawei Honor V9 boasts a great design and performance in its range. Huawei offers some features like intelligent voice actions, and the Quick app opens. As of now, Huawei has launched the device only in China starting at 2599 yuan.

Huawei Honor V9 features a 5.7-inch Quad HD display with 2560 × 1440 pixels resolution. The display gets a 2.5D curved glass on the top. The device is powered by an Octa-Core Huawei Kirin 960 processor clocked at 2.4GHz. The chipset is coupled with a Mali G71 Octa-Core GPU for better graphic duties.

Huawei Honor V9 is available in 2 variants with different RAM and internal storage capacities. The 4GB RAM variant packs an internal storage of 64GB, and 6GB RAM variant gets 128GB storage. However, the storage is expandable up to 128GB with a microSD card.

The smartphone runs on Android 7.0 nougat with EMUI 5.0 on top. Huawei Honor V9 provides a Hybrid Dual SIM of 2 nano SIMs. The device does offer a fingerprint sensor and an Infrared sensor. On camera font, Honor V9 sports 12MP dual rear cameras with dual-tone LED flash. The camera does offer other options like Laser AF, f/2.2 aperture. Another 8MP front-facing camera with f/2.0 aperture is provided for selfies.

Honor V9 measures 157×77.5×6.97mm in dimensions and weigh around 184 grams. Connectivity options in the device include Wi-Fi a/b/g/n/ac, 4G VoLTE, GPS, NFC, Bluetooth 4.2, USB 2.0 Type-C. The smartphone is backed by a 4000 mAh battery and does support fast charging.

Huawei Digital Assistant with Voice-Powered Service is on the Cards

World’s third largest smartphone maker Huawei Technologies Co. is gearing up its plans to launch digital assistant with its own voice-powered service. Huawei Digital Assistant is in budding stage with over a hundred engineers are working on it at its Shenzhen, China offices. Aiming the Apple Inc.’s Siri, Alphabet Inc.’s Google Assistant, and Amazon.com Inc.’s Alexa, Huawei is extending its effort on technology.

Targeting the domestic users, Huawei’s assistant would communicate in Chinese languages. On the other hand, Huawei continues to work with Amazon and Google outside China. Interestingly, Siri may help Huawei devices to stand out in the Chinese market crowd. However, many Google services which come with the dominant Android operating system are blocked in China.

Google Assistant Soon to be Available on Non-Pixel Smartphones

The company is targeting $33 billion consumer sales this year. Huawei trails only Samsung and Apple in global smartphone shipments as it drives up the market with premium features. This move of building an in-house voice assistant from major Android device manufacturer may jerk Google in its plans.

The company claims that the handset introduced with amazing Honor 8 Lite Specifications. Honor 8 Lite comes in four colour options namely Blue, Black, Gold and White. According to the reports, this smartphone made available to purchase at an Honor 8 Lite Price of EUR 269 (approx Rs. 19,600).

Huawei launched the much anticipated Honor 6X at CES 2017

The company launched the Honor 8 Lite in Finland and went on sale from 17th February 2017 in the country. Huawei claims that only Black and White variants are available on mentioned date and the Gold variant in the month ending. The Blue variant will launch in the month of March, and there is no word on the availability of global release.
